Dr. Zook is very professional & willing to help with any problems his patients may have.

I didn’t actually see Dr. Zook. After waiting in the exam for 45 minutes I was asked if I was willing to see his PA Scott Fox. I agreed and am very satisfied with the way Mr. Fox treated me. He seemed very knowledgeable and treated me with dignity and kindness. I was comfortable to ask questions, didn’t feel rushed, and am confident in the diagnosis and treatment approach determined. I never did see Dr. Zook. Not sure what he would have added to the exam if I had, other than a concurrence. 5 stars for PA Scott Fox. 0 for Dr. Zook because that is who my appointment was with and after 45 minutes past my appointment I I was switched to his PA. I was told Dr. Zook would review my X-Rays with me, which never happened. But I understand the unexpected can come up? All the other staff were friendly and professional at the same time.

As a long time patient I continue to be exceptionally pleased with his manner, communication and surgical skills and diagnostic ability. I agree fully with my primary care physician who refers to him as a “ darn fine surgeon”,

I would be weary of this Doctor. I had bad numbness in both legs Zook assured me it was not Neuropathy. Did 2 major surgeries on me that did not help at all and went to another doctor who sent me for a Neuropathy test to prove that indeed this was from my diabetes. Now I have more pain and issues from the fusion this guy did on me and he won't see me back because I really think he knows I know. Yea he is a good surgeon just make sure he don't need a new house or car the week your surgery is scheduled. Emerge Ortho is also useless. Stay Clear get multiple opinions and find a trustworthy doctor I cannot recommend this guy!

Dr. Zook appears to be a very efficient, competent orthopedic surgeon. However there is no warmth, no relatability, no engagement between him and the patient. His attempts at introduction and shaking your hand are purely perfunctory. Recommend patient engagement training.
