Dr. Katz was very pleasant and very patient with my case, I was very pleased with his attitude on attending my needs. Great nursing and secretary staff. Thank you Dr. Katz.

The only good aspect of my first and last visit in Dr. Katz' office was his staff, mostly his nurse, who remained very professional and polite after it was discovered there had been a misunderstanding regarding my intended visit. Misreading my records, they thought I was coming for one reason when what I had verbally requested over the phone, was a meeting about a more immediate, and painful, medical issue. When Dr. Katz finally blew into the room there was no sign of graciousness or understanding that I, the patient, could be worried about the prospect of being cut open. His eye contact was rare but when it came it was accompanied by what landed as verbal abuse. After the fourth time hearing him say, 'this is why I hate doing these' (second opinions), I came out of my shock at his arrogant behavior and literally put my palm up to face him and said, 'Stop...I've got it. Enough!' I then stood, having the right to do so, and gathered my belongings realizing I did not just spend $60… dollars or drive from out of town for this kind of treatment. Some back peddling started to take place on his part but it was a weak attempt. Giving him the benefit of the doubt I will say he certainly could have woken up on the wrong side of the bed but if one 'hates' to do second opinions, don't offer them for heaven's sake!!!

To summarize, unless you have two hours to sit in a room alone, and once you finally see the doctor, he talks to you like you're stupid... go there.

Dr. Katz is extremely rude, he has no people skills whatsoever. My husband had broken his hand severely and needed to have surgery including pins, bone graph, and a rod put in. He needed medication because he was in so much pain after the surgery. The doctor prescribed him Tylenol but when he asked for something stronger doctor made him feel like a pill junkie. He was extremely rude to me (his wife) as well. He said that he didn't want me calling them anymore, only my husband because our"stories" were conflicting. He is just extremely unprofessional, and I would not recommend him to anyone!!!!

Performed my open reduction and internal fixation on my wrist. Outstanding surgeon! Thank you!

Dr Katz is great he takes time to explain your diagnosis and treatment options. His staff is a little on the rude side but don't let that deter from seeing him.

after having at 7 fractures of the same finger of my hand, my 7th fracture was the worst and needed an internal fixation rod to fix the fracture but also correct the major misalignment and deformity the previous fractures had caused. I thought there was no way possible to correct the problem is that the previous factures have caused. But with Dr. Katz's experience and expertise he was able to do wonders with my hand. I now have a full use of my hand and finger which I never had before. I am so grateful to him and his staff for the wonderful care that he gave me. I would definitely see him again if I needed to and recommend him to my family and my friends.

My experience with Dr. Katz was not good. I waited for 2 1/2 hours to see him.
