Dr. Jasper John Rizzo, DO

Can not evaluate, can not diagnose, has no clue about drug interactions... or just negligent. I do not know what is worse

Today I went in to have a 25 minute stent removal. Dr. Rizzo scheduled me to arrive at 9:30 for a 11:20 surgery. At 3:05 I was taken in to surgery. He took the blame for the delay with the reason being that he had 12 cases and didn't know how it was going to "shake out." You would think that a surgeon would have the ability to schedule his case load so that he doesn't have patients waiting 5.5 hours for a 25 minute procedure.

Dr Rizzo has been my dr for the past 6 years due to history of kidney stones. I think he is great and would recommend.

Knowledgeable, good explanation of problem no excessive testing. thorough problem focused exam.

This Dr.'s staff in his Cape Coral office is horrible very rude and very unprofessional. They act like if they are bother when you call them and they also lie to their patients, I was told they couldn't give me an appointment that week because the doctor was out on vacations. I ended up in the hospital with a kidney infection and Dr. Evans who supposedly was on vacation was the on call doctor who saw me at the hospital the week I was hospitalized. Unbelievable so unprofessional, I asked him every single day if he was enjoying his fake vacation.

Fabulous personality. Addressed and correctly repaired an ongoing domino effect for a miss diagnosed prorate issue. Timely surgery and, having multiple surgery experiences in the same area, relatively pain free. Staff actually talked with you and treated you as a person with a concern. Was in upper management in healthcare for 35 years and do have high expectations of patient and doctor care. Met and exceeded them.

I saw Dr. Rizzo and had a bladder sling procedure that was supposed to solve my incontinence. Afterward, When I told Dr. Rizzo the surgery wasn't working as it should he said everything was working properly and didn't seem to care that I still was experiencing the same problem I had prior to the surgery. I then went to another urologist who found the problem, FIXED it and said some men don't like to admit their mistakes. Enough said.

Very considerate and caring. Explains in non-medical terms. Makes you feel relaxed and at ease in discussing a very delicate subject for men. Will answer any and every question completely. Highly recommend.
