We were 100% satisfied with everything. We wanted a top notch doctor and that's exactly what we got. Considering the volume of patients he sees I think they are remarkably on schedule and he spent as much time as we wanted. I had a list of questions and he sat there and answered them all very patiently. We are happy and confident with Dr. Shah.

Dr. Shah is an amazing doctor and man. He spends time and explain things to you more then any other doctor we have been too. Yea there is a wait, but tell what office/hospital you have been to that you don't have to wait! I would recommend Dr. Shah to any one in need of a great Multiple Myeloma doctor! You will not regret it. My husband has been in remission for 2 years now!! Thank you Dr. Shah for saving my husbands life!!

I strongly recommend that you utilize other physicians at MD Anderson. Dr. Shah does not spend much time with the patient, has cancelled visits within the week of the visit although I had my plane ticket and most important, does not get back to you in a timely manner. I have waiting over a month just to get lab results that were done outside the hospital in spite of the fact that his nurse confirmed receipt of them a month earlier. In addition there have been some on his staff previously that were rude and even hung up when you try to get lab results. Hopefully there are better doctors at MD Anderson, but this is one that will raise your blood pressure and you will feel like you are not supported fully in your care. Perhaps you will even feel like he and some of his staff are doing you a favor rather than showing the compassion and care we all deserve. Especially from a prestigious facility which is supposed to be ranked number one in the world.
