Dr. Jatinder Narula, MD

Dr. Narula is a wonderful and empathetic pain management doctor. I have been working with Dr. Narula to manage my pain for several years. He always makes a point of asking about my family and checks in with me on a personal level. Dr. Narula takes the time to listen to me and examine me to determine the best course of action for my pain management. He is always willing to discuss new and alternative treatments with me. Dr. Narula genuinely cares for his patients and wants to help with managing pain.

I will not be seeing Dr. Narula due to his policies on accepting patient referrals from other pain management specialists. He requires that medical records from my current pain management specialist be submitted (I understand the reason and need for that). After submitted you are told that it will take two to three weeks for review. Office staff told me I would receive a call after review. After two weeks I called and was told I would hear back before the end of the week. Having not heard from the office at the end of that week I called on Monday afternoon to inquire about why I had not received a call. The office staff acted like they had never heard from me before and tried to tell me that they had not received my medical records. I told them that I had verified with them twice that my records had been received. I even verified with my primary pain management specialist that my records had been sent. Dr. Narula’s staff then told me it would take another two to three weeks… before I would hear from them. NOT acceptable. Based on how I have been treated I am more than suspect of the quality of the care I would receive from Dr. Narula.

I’ve had chronic hip and lower back pain for 4 years. I saw Dr. Narula for my lower back/sacroiliac issues. He was very patient in answering all of my questions and he made me feel very comfortable regarding my treatment. Dr Narula explained everything to me, step by step, he took his time and ensured I did not experience ANY pain during the sacroiliac joint procedure. I can’t praise Dr Narula and his team enough for what they did for me. I recommend Dr. Narula and his team 100%!

Have now called 4 times. Next appointment is 6 weeks away. Can't get him to return phone calls and/or get an accelerated appointment.

Dr. Narula is highly competent, kind and an excellent communicator. Need I say more?

Dr. Narula did a very thorough exam. He called me back when I called the office about shoulder pain and took the time to listen to my concerns.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Narula when he was with Capital Spine and Pain Center ( name has since changed), and his days in the office was soo pleasant. His compassion for the patients was genuine and the interaction with staff was wonderful...very respectful... I hope he continues to flourish and wish there were more Dr's like him.

Excellent doctor. The best I've ever had. I was in such pain and he took me in right away. I couldn't thank him enough. I was upset when he moved out of my area.

Dr Narula is a caring, and effective physician---he is an excellent communicator, and a calm and reassuring doctor.
