Dr. Javid Rohullah Amini, MD

I am very happy with Dr Amini, he takes the time with me to explain everything and always wants to know if I have any questions. He always keeps up on all the tests I should have done. I went through open heart 2 years ago at Penn in Philly and he set everything up and knew it was time after he put 5 stents in me over the years. He is very professional and I am very happy with his care for me.

Dr. Amina I have great respect for Dr. Amini. He has been taking care of me for seven years and I’m always satisfied with my visits. He never rushes. He recommends test when I need them and I’m confident that I am very well taken care of thank you and thank you Dr. Amini I love being your patient.

Let me start with Dr Amini was EXCELLENT. However the nurse that brought me back to the room was extremely unfriendly. After waiting 50 minutes after my appointment was to begin in the waiting room (which I was ok with) I was put on a scale at which time she couldn’t even wait for the numbers to stop before she walked away and disappeared into 1 of the rooms. I gathered my things and ran behind her. We went into the room and short, quick conversation which she controlled and I wasn’t really allowed to speak more than a word or two or expand on my thoughts. Finally she asked for my list of medications and I have them on my phone and it took me literally 2 minutes to bring them up but that was too long for her to wait. She popped up and said “I will get them from the computer” However the computer “Commonwealth patient portal” does not have my full list because I was recently put on 2 new medications. So the office still has wrong information. So in all after waiting 50 minutes she could… not be bothered to give me 2 to have important information the doctor should have. Very rude.

Dr. Amini is a very good cardiologist, knowledgeable and compassionate. A real expert in placing cardiac stents and analyzing test data associated with the blockages.

I was referred to Dr Amini on short notice for a procedure. He got me in the next day and cleared me for a surgery. He takes the time to talk to you and offer a clear explanation of what’s going on. Definitely worth 5 stars
