Dr. Javier De Jesus Canasi, MD

I have been a patient for a long time, but my recent experiences with this doctor have been very disappointing. He seems more money-driven than patient-focused. I have been on the same medication for years, yet now I am being required to make multiple visits each year just to get a refill. Even after normal lab results, he insists on additional appointments before approving a prescription. This feels like nothing more than a way to generate extra charges, rather than truly caring for patients’ needs. His bedside manner is also extremely unprofessional. He does not listen, shows little interest in his patients, and speaks in a dismissive way. On one occasion, after I was already admitted to the exam room, I overheard him tell the nurse that he was leaving to pick up his child from school. This was incredibly disrespectful of my time, especially given that the office enforces strict policies for patients regarding late cancellations or no-shows. The staff is consistently rude, which… seems to reflect his own attitude, since he clearly allows and supports that kind of behavior. Unfortunately, the problem starts at the top, and it shows throughout the practice.

Dr. Canasi is the best! He makes you feel that your are the most important human being. He takes time with you answering all your questions. He is very very intelligent doctor and I recommend him 100%.

When I arrived at Dr. Canasi’s office I could barely walk and using the assistance of a walker. He was determined to find answers and after thorough tests, he did. He prescribed me his amazing CBD oil and within several doses, I was getting around on my own and almost pain free. A couple days following, now I’m completely pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Canasi’s office. Not only was he patient and knowledgeable, his staff was also friendly and professional.

I highly recommend Dr Canasi. My husband and I, as well as my mom, have been patients of his for quite a while and could not be more pleased with him or his staff. Not only is he an excellent doctor, he is easy to talk to, does not rush you and knows his patients well. His staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Canasi is very a very professional, loyal and passionate doctor. I would recommend anyone looking for a great doctor call Dr. Canasi.

Dr. Canasi is a very good internist. Very professional from the minute you walk into his office-the wait time is reasonably short, to the nurse taking your vitals and then waiting for Dr. Canasi to see you is on average 15 to 20 minutes. He is knowledgeable, professional, and is courteous. I highly recommend his services.

The last three visits to my previous doctor resulted in a minimum hour wait each time. After struggling to make an appointment with my former doctor and/or contact her office with questions for over a year - due to the "new & improved" automated system she implemented - I decided it was time to find a new doctor. I selected Dr. Canasi and I'm glad I did! His nurse and office staff are all very nice and efficient - I get a "real person" every time I call the office! I was in and out on my initial visit in less than 45 minutes, including a physical! Amazing!! The icing on the cake is that Dr. Canasi is professional, knowledgeable, efficient and NICE! I am so happy to have found my new doctor and highly recommend others looking for a new doctor to contact Dr. Canasi's office!

This Doctor has to be the most unprofessional Doctor I ever met. When I left his office, his poor office staff apologized for his horrible behavior. He requested that I come in to talk with him, to find out he did not even give me a chance to speak, he was too busy screaming & talking loudly to me.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He has horrible bed side manners and treats his patients with disrespect. He does not listen to patients and instead dismisses them making you feel like you're wasting his time. A complete waste of time and money. Please do yourselves a favor and find a doctor who will care about your health not your pocketbook.

Dr Canasi was my father's doctor. I tried to speak with him several times, left several messages and never once received a call back. My father said he was arrogant and treated him horribly, his staff is incompetent and completely unhelpful. Do not see Dr. Canasi.
