Dr. Jawad Sarwar, MD

Whomever does the hiring for Dr Sawar needs to do a much better job at hiring staff that resembles something of professional. Ive been a patient of Sawar for years but will NEVER return after I was treated as if I was a piece of trash by his front office staff. I will be letting my family and friends who are patients of Dr Sawar know what an awful group of people are working for him and, because I actually CARE about my loved ones, move their healthcare services to another Dr. If these people can't handle the stress of healthcare then they need to get a job in an industry that does not require human interaction.

Dr. Sarwar is outstanding. He LISTENS and helps. I highly recommend.

If you are really ill and you can't diagnose yourself, going to this doctor is a horrible slow death sentence.

Dr. Sarwar is a thoughtful physician. He spends time with his patients and answers all questions with utmost professionalism. Finally, his fees are definitely lower, for uninsured patients, than the other Drs. in the area. I have been a patient of Dr Sarwars for several years now. He is a knowledgeable physical and the staff have always been very kind and helpful to me. I am a white senior citizen and have never witnessed any prejudice from any of the staff. I look forward to many more years of Dr Sarwars care.

I became disabled under the care of Jawad Sarwar !!!!! Scam artist backed up by corrupted staff that must help the Jihady SOB to keep their pay check !!! Maria , the front office , what a PIG !!!!!! STAY AWAY IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR HEALTH !!!!!

(This review was copied from a Google review I posted) BEWARE RACIST OFFICE STAFF HERE! I decided to post this review (even though I said I wasn't after speaking to the doctor) because people need to know what an inordinate amount of anger, stress, and frustration I had experienced with one particular staff person named Maria. Without boring the public with all the details, suffice it to say that this Maria person intentionally made me call in 5x just to get a referral faxed to a specialist. First time I called she even admitted it didn't go through, but of course she never even bothered to re-fax it. I had to repeatedly call and ask her to fax it whereby she would play these games with me saying "I will fax it and call you back". Of course, she never faxed it (verified by calling the specialist office where it was never received) or called me back. After this crap went on for awhile, I finally lost it when I finally spoke to her (the 4th time) and she then lies to me by saying that… when she called the specialist office, she was told that the person there could only take messages and can't check if faxes went through. Absolute BULLSH*T, because every time I called the specialist there was always a receptionist that could tell me if the fax went through or not. Maria's behavior can only be attributed to racism because I have never ever given her any reason to hate me (never was rude to her in the past, nor was I impatient, nor had any other situations with her), and I am a new patient. By the way, I am Asian and she is mexican. And I know for a fact in the Houston metroplex, I have experienced many racist incidences with fat mexican people (sorry, but all of them were fat). So, Maria is this fat mexican that looks at me because I am a fit Asian dude (I do lots o' weightlifting), and wants to teach me a lesson and put me in my place because she believes I don't belong there (I am assuming most of my racist mexican experiences are because they are envious of us Asians because of diligent work ethics, superior intellect, and high income status). Really, I can't ascertain any other reason for the constant crap treatment I got. On top of all this, complaining to both the administrator and Dr. Sarwar only elicited a defense for their precious Maria, but then of course, they will naturally distance themselves from any racist associations because of bad publicity. They both told me they know that Maria is not racist. I guess they can read her mind because not all racist people will display their racism overtly. Many of them discreetly discriminate all the time. In conclusion, I will have to say that Dr. Sarwar is an excellent physician and have no qualms with him, but if you are of Asian descent and ever have to deal with Maria, you better brace yourself. I am letting my insurance company among others know of this situation, and I will gladly vacate my patient status there.
