Dr. Jay R Bhatt, MD

I knew he was good... after moving to Naples I realize how good he really is in his profession. His staff and administration are friendly and super professional. Dr Byatt not only is knowledgeable but very attentive and explains throughly. His personality is an At. I am flying back to Indianapolis to get the best treatment. Thank you Dr. Byatt and staff!!!:)

Front desk and assistant all inefficient. Won't call back when said they will for over a week and need to constantly be calling them for follow up. Can never get to talk to Dr Bhatt even in time of bad episode. Beyond reach except when you have appointment to see him in office.

I am SHOCKED to see some of the negative reviews of Dr. Bhatt! He is an incredible doctor! I am so, so very indebted to him; not just monetarily, but for literally changing my life with his expertise and help. I have NEVER had a problem with his "bedside manner" or some of the other issues that I have read here. He is nothing short of awesome! I can't imagine what might have happened with me had I not gotten the help from him that I received. Again, he is a wonderful, caring, focused, incredibly intelligent and patient PERSON and doctor. My overall rating for him is far beyond 4 stars; he is TOP NOTCH! Without question, I love this man and again, he is an incredible doctor. Incredible! I highly recommend him to any and everyone. He's very honest and open: If he can help you, he most certainly will say so and will follow through and help you. If he cannot help you or doesn't know the answer, he most certainly will tell you so. That type of honesty and care is few and far… between.

Beware of this doctor he seems to have a problem with bedside manner. To the point where his frustration with a difficult disease prompts him to respond very harshly up to the point of blaming the patient. Many neurological diseases always have an element physiological. If he determines that your treatment will be degraded. He told my wife I was addicted to medicine, after she pulled my prescription history and found I was NOT taking even a quarter of what was prescribed that she apologized and we were able to reconcile. The most troubling part was a month later a test reveled what he was 'looking' for. I will never go to IU North out of fear I will be under his care. In my experience, he lacks the experience in dealing with complex problems.

Seems to let hunches or personal feelings get in the way of really helping someone. Points to the patient and blames them for thier problems when he can not figure something out. Needs more experience....he lost my trust and caused family turmoil by accusing of unfounded beliefs. If you have a difficult desease I would steer clear.

Dr. Bhatt is an awesome doctor. When seeing him I don't feel rushed, and he focuses totally on my reason for the office visit. Great manner, Great instincts, and looks for reasons for the symptoms instead of just treating those symptoms with drugs! His staff is great too!
