This physician is not only very bright but he also cares about helping you become as healthy as possible.

I find Dr Cooperman to be understanding and complete in his diagnosis and treatment regiment . Alway willing to listen and take the time to work through any problem that might arise.

Dr Jay Cooperman is truly an impressive physician. He is caring and concerned, friendly while maintaining professional and excellent standards of service. Many Internists these days relinquish their role to the patient to Hospitalists when their patients are admitted into a hospital. ( Hospitalists are a new generation of internal medicine physicians who are dedicated to treating patients while they are in the hospital). Not Dr. Cooperman. He is committed to his patients' care and personally sees to their medical needs whether it be in his office, in the hospital, or over the phone if needed in an emergency. This is one physician that you can count on to be there for you when you need him. Both my husband and I are very glad to have found him and to have him as our primary care provider. His staff (Donna and Chris) provide excellent professional and courteous care as well.

Recently, during my annual physical, Dr. Cooperman discovered blood in my stool sample. My previous colonoscopy was seven years ago, with a countdown to 10 years for my next scheduled one (my previous two colonoscopies were clean). But, because of the stool sample, I had a colonoscopy performed within the month. It revealed two Adenomatous polyps - the type that could have turned cancerous - and they were removed. If I had waited another three years, who knows what could have developed? (Even though polyps are slow-growing). I attribute to Dr. Cooperman's attention to detail and concern, and to MDVIP's annual physical program, the discovery and removal of these "pre-cancerous" polyps, and to a great peace of mind, on my part. Thank you, Dr. Cooperman!

Expert making medical diagnoses; far superior to my former physicians. Has excellent judgement. Is highly capable of zeroing in initially on best treatment and medication options. Takes pride in scholarship and continuing medical education. Has extraordinary retentive memory. Seniors like myself are very fortunate to be a patient of this fine and caring primary care doctor.

Dr. Cooperman is very set in his ways and is not open to different ideas or treatment options. He will talk down to you if you suggest that he might be wrong and he does not think outside the box. He will not treat you correctly for Lyme disease even if you have severe neurological symptoms and a positive test...he will suggest a spinal tap...see a neurologist, etc. Not a good experience at all...

Having been Dr. Cooperman's patient for many years I can say that his care has been excellent.

This doctor is very intelligent and is an highly capable practicioner. Has finest credentials and very competent up-to-date skills. Totally focused on well-being of his patients. Deserves great praise! Trustworthy and caring physician.

Inaccurate medical records. I refer to him as " brain dead " because of his poor performance. Long list of stories...too long for this space.

I have been seeing Dr. Cooperman for 15 years.He also sees my mom, husband, son and soon will be seeing my 18 yr. old daughter.I trust his judgement. He is very thorough.His diagnoses savedmy husband's life a few years ago. My husband had a pulmonaryembolism.
