Dr. Jay Thomas Draeger, MD

This man signed the death certificate for my fathers death. My father died of Lewy Body Dementia and Dr. Draeger decided to throw in a secondary cause of death which was “COVID complications” without testing my father for COVID or ever seeing him in person. He did not have COVID at or near his time of death and was fully vaccinated. We will be reporting him with the medical board as well. An absolute fraud

Pill pushers no mention of exercise, diet, full & proper lab tests, put my mom on aricept she never been the same since

Dr. Draeger ordered a chest x-ray "just in case", when treating me for a persistent cough. As a result my lung cancer was caught very early. The treatment he gave me for the cough cleared it up, so had he not gone the extra step the cancer probably would have gone undetected for quite a while.

Figured out which drug was actually causing my problems, when every other M.D. just kept prescribing all of them.

Set up an appointment for my son who's 18. I don't want to get into it but they have no clue how to deal with young people. This dr treats the elderly or if you have something like a disease. My fault, I should have done more research.

I have only been a patient of Dr. Draeger's for six months and have been to his office for appointments at least four times, but have yet to meet him. I am always pushed to his physician's assistant. Don't get me wrong, his PA is nice, but I have multiple sclerosis and REQUIRE a better (i.e., existent) relationship with my primary care physician. If I could give zero stars, I would.

His bedside manner is poor. Very diplomatic and not expressing any quality of life perspective or dignity. Could have just been the day and time, but felt he was not compassionate to our concerns.

Dr Draeger is a GREAT Doctor. He spends a lot of time with you during appointments. He is very thorough in his exams, diagnosis and treatment. He asks questions, gives very good feedback and answers making sue you understand things. He is very particular about his treatment plan and your understanding of it. He gives a written copy to you after each appointment.
