Dr. Jay Bernard Herman, MD

Worst experience with a healthcare professional I've ever had. Didn't order the tests he said he would order, his records were wrong of my symptoms, he and his staff were extremely unprofessional and dismissive. Absolutely a waste of time.

Dr. Herman explained each procedure needed to remove my cancer. He was straight-forward providing detailed information to me and my family. At each step, Dr. Herman explained our progress and the next steps. He saw our nervousness and to help alleviate it, he proactively scheduled hospital surgeries so that we would not have to wait for weeks between procedures. He answered our long list of questions. Today, the cancer is out of me due to his surgical skill, experience, knowledge, and proper treatments. Dr. Herman's cancer treatment is second to none. My whole family cannot thank Dr. Herman enough for what he did to extend my life. We are celebrating today because of Dr. Herman. Thank you!!!

Find another Urologist. The staff are very disrespectful and stole my co payment. This is a shady operation.

I was searching for a urologist to get a third opinion for some concerns and problems I was experiencing for several years. Dr. Herman was attentive and ambitious in treating my symptoms. He and his staff were courteous and informative to answering any of my questions. I saw immediate results after surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I've been a patient of Dr Jay for well over 11 years, referred to him by my PCP, Dr. Aizooky. My experience with both doctors is one of total confidence and trust. Dr Herman has addressed, diagnosed, and successfully treated my, now monitored, Prostate Cancer, and various other aging maladies. I find my visits to be pleasant, punctual, and unstressful. I've personally referred many friends and acquaintances, with no reservations..

Staff are openly disrespectful toward patients. Clinic conditions are unsanitary. Communication is poor regarding patient concerns. A shady clinical practice.

I was referred to Dr. Herman for a kidney stone. I was not aware of options and accepted his recommended treatment from him which I later found out was not the standard of care as prescribed by the American Kidney Foundation. Dr herman did 3 procedures and I still was not stone free. I found a competent urologist and am now stone free after only 1 procedure. I was also informed by a medical professional that he is not a good doctor and it is time for him to retire.

He asked for a urine specimen, and there was blood in my urine... he told me to make an appointment with my PCP! I was stunned and gave him a piece of my mind. He asked me to give him another chance and I did. He disappointed me again! He needs to slow down and not see as many patients cause he does not have time for one!!

Dr. Herman treated my terminally ill father with compassion and respect. He performed surgery that made dad's life better during his final year. When my husband needed a urological procedure, I encouraged him to see Dr. Herman. Once again, the doctor has been absolutely great. He is responsive, his staff is fabulous, and his medical knowledge is impeccable.

I'm still a teenager and get kidney stones too big to pass on my own all the time. Dr. Herman has done everything he can to help me out. He truly knew what was going on and gave me a plan to help with my problem. He gave the right diagnosis right away and I would totally recommend him to anyone. The only bad thing was he is a little awkward but I can handle how awkward he is because he helped me out quickly.
