Answered all my questions. He is kind and gentle. Excellent physician.

I have been seeing Dr. Hurh for 6 years and have never had any issues with him or his staff. Dr. Kathy has been wonderful as well. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. They always go above and beyond for any help I might need.

I had my 2nd injection done today by Dr.Hurh and once again I am beyond pleased with his work. I didn't even flinch. Seriously I'm beyond happy with Dr.Hurh and his team. Very nice and both Dr.Hurh & his team explain everything. Dr.Kathy is also wonderful. I highly recommend this office & both Drs.

Dr. Kathy and Dr. Hurh are a wonderful team who help patients with acute and chronic pain. I was in a car accident and my C4-C7 were injured. He was honest that epidurals might not work. The first one did but only lasted a while. 2nd one less effective, 3rd not effective. They came up with a pain management program until I could see a spine surgeon. They were professional and never gave up trying to find solutions.

Hurh has good knowledge and tries to help but he is often rushed. Assumes too quickly without much mutual conversation with patient. He can also seem impersonal as if he has rude manners but he doesn’t mean it. Busy guy but it’s my health so I would prefer a doctor who is more patient and caring.

I went to see Dr. Jay Hurh for cervical neck pain. An ongoing issue for almost a year. Had seen other specialists without success. Dr. Hurh ( pain management specialist) corrected the pain problem with cervical injections I would recommend him to anyone. He discussed my pain problem and how he was going to treat it.

Dr. Hurh and his team are excellent. They listen to you and Dr. Hurh really hears your concerns and issues. He is very compassionate and knows exactly what to do. I can see why it takes a while to get in to see him. It is worth the wait!

After being a patient for approx. 6 mos., Dr Hurht administered a nerve block and epidural for my chronic back pain. When these procedures did not work, they (Hurht & his PA) told me they couldn't help and suggested chiropractic work (which I informed them I had previously seen a chiropractor and didn't get relief), not to mention it took his office 2 weeks to call me back after leaving multiple messages. Unless you want to be a test subject for his "miracle" Ablation procedure, or have history responding well to epidurals- this is not your physician. Dr. Hurht gives up on patients in pain when faced with adversity.

He has assisted me with chronic back pain, due to an accident & failing bones. With his care - I am almost pain free. I had gone to another pain management Dr. With some minor help. But never recommended the course DrHurh took. Also, he is very friendly, explains everything so you understand. Also, his staff is friendly, & answers the phone - your not sent to a switchboard give a message & wait. Kathy, his PA is also terrific, & I feel very comfortable with her & discussing my situation.

Epidural was okay but he is arrogant and LATE!!! We waited at the hospital for 2 hours after my appointment time for epidural. He and his staff kept talking about how soon they could get out of there while I was having the procedure (I was the last appointment). Didn't reassure me as their professionalism! They were all rushed to get me out afterwards with minimal time for explanations or questions. I never met him at the office at any time--I always met with his PA-Kathy who was nice but I really would have liked to meet Hurh in the office before my epidural! His office staff are not very good--the atmosphere in the office reflects Hurh's attitude of arrogance. They act like they are doing you a big favor although you and/or your insurance company are paying BIG bucks to be there. Although my neck felt better afterwards, I'm looking for another doctor who actually takes time to connect with his patients.
