Dr. Jay R. Moodley, MD

He is a terrible doctor to work for. He never wants to be bother outside of the regular 9-5. He expects his nurses to do everything for him.

I started going here when I was first pregnant with my oldest daughter and I wouldn’t trust my prenatal care with anybody else.

I love Brenda and Dr Moodley, but their office staff (the front desk girl and ultrasound tech) are the rudest people I have met. Their billing staff and front desk staff have no clue what they are doing, nor do they communicate with one another. A+ for Brenda, Dr Moodley, lab and nursing staff, total F for front desk, billing, and ultrasound. Such a shame.

Great Dr. and great staff! I travel about 30min. to see Dr. Moodley and would travel further if I had too! I'm not impressed at all with the hospital he delivers at (Marion General) but I sacrifice my hospital experience to see Dr. Moodley. The staff at Marion General are cold acting.

Dr Moodley was my OB during my first 2 pregnancies...I was very young, much too young to be having babies, nevertheless, Dr Moodley never treated me poorly or unprofessional despite my youth. He made me feel very comfortable during my visits. My last pregnancy I saw Brenda, and she is fabulous as well. Office staff is courteous and caring as well.

Dr. Moodley is very kind and caring. He was my daughter's doctor throughout her pregnancy and delivered her baby (I was in the delivery room...it was so wonderful!). He always took the time to explain test results and procedures. I have another daughter of who is undergoing gynecological testing in his office at this present time and needs a LEEP procedure. She had previously been diagnosed by a different doctor out of state and now Dr. Moodley has confirmed these results through more in-depth re-testing. He is explaining everything to us and answering our questions and concerns before the procedure takes place. I will follow up and amend the review, pertaining to the upcoming procedure, at a later date. The office is beautiful and the staff is also very courteous. We are able to schedule appointments quickly and conveniently and always following up as needed. The wait time in the office is good...basically the average time of any doctor office.

i have been with dr.moodley for about 5 years now and i cant take it anymore. he has done 3 of my surgeries and handled both of my pregnancies. i love his midwife brenda but dr.moodley- i have no respect for him anymore. after my 3rd surgery he had found a serious illness that will never be cured and after the surgery he didnt even come back to tell me what he had found he went straight to lunch he told my dad to tell me! i was devistated and i had so many questions but he wasnt there to talk to me so i could ask any of them. he was wonderful with both of my pregnancies but when you arent pregnant and something serious to deal with he wants no part of it and dosent care! i was told by another doctor here in marion (i will not give his name) when i got a second oppinion that dr.moodley is being reviewed by the board of health because he was in trouble for doing so many unnecessary surgeries that, that was the reasoning behind him not being "allowed" to do my hysterectomy. well i can… assure you that if what i have turns cancerious that i will be the first one lawyering up and taking him to court! i do not recommend him and im the first one to point someone in the other direction when they are looking for a OB.he is so unprofessional and such a liar.

Out of all the doctors I have had in the past Dr. Moodley was probably my favorite! Him and his staff were so great with me during my pregnancy! I now live in Virginia and I am about ready to drive back to Marion, Ohio just to keep Dr Moodley as my doctor!

when i was looking for an obgyn i had no idea where to start looking in marion, when i got pregnet with my son. I called around to a lot of different offices and they were either not taking new people or they did not take my health care plan. i called dr.Moodleys office and i had an appaiment the next day. i was very nurvios to see a male doctor for this reason but dr.moodly made me feel very comfterable he delt with my pragancy in the best way possiable way. now i am trying to get pregnat again and i will not go to anybody else but dr.moodley and his office staff.
