Dr. Jay Paul Klarnet

I had been taking my friend to Dr Klarnet for approximately 6 months to discover that he didn’t even remember or know what illness he was treating her for. Please run if you are a patient of his.

Given 2 weeks to live at onset, Dr. Klarnet continued to treat me against all odds and criticism by his colleagues! My cardiologists informed me I would die shortly of heart failure anyway, and chemotherapy should be discontinued. Today, 7 ;years later, I am not only considered cured of cancer, my heart has improved and I am considered healthy with need for only annual physical exams! Dr. Klarnet deserves a medal for Valor in his field for helping me at the risk of his reputation!

Kind, courteous and well prepared. An expert with real knowledge and superb judgement as a hematologist/oncologist taking care of me for anemia.

When he came in, my wife, who is the patient, and I thought he was the janitor. He was not very professional at all! He seemed like he would rather have been somewhere else. Did not inspire any confidence at all.

As a "snow bird I selected Dr. Jay Klarnet as a oncologist in Casa Grande Az. To over see the administration of 3 month Lupron injections and provide treatment of my cancer while wintering in Arizona. I found Dr. Klarnet to be ill prepared to see me on the 3 occasions. I would rate his preparation poor. Worse. Than that the best I can say of Dr. Klarnets staff both professional and clerical to be dedicated to the employees well fare in deference to the patients well fare. Wait time with a appointment was normally an hour. Smiles and common plesentaries by staff are in too short of supply. Upon return to Casa Grande I will find a different clinic for my care.

My first meeting with this doctor. It was my regular six month appointment to evaluate my mammogram and calcium level. I had stage 1 breast cancer 5 years ago and I take a Prolia shot twice a year and it is determined by your calcium levels whether you are able to take it! I asked him about my calcium and he said don't worry about it. The nurse had to explain what I should be doing. He also did not seem interested in looking at my mamagram even though my PCP saw my results and requested for me to have another the next day because something did not look right to him. Dr. Klarnet seemed uninterested in me and we did not discuss anything relating to a plan of action regarding my health! He was intimidating and hard to talk to. I do not feel at ease with him and also do not trust him overseeing my health issues. I am choosing not to see him again. This was a miserable experience!

Awesome doc

My opinion of DR. Klarnet is very poor!!! He left his practice here in Sierra Vista without informing his patients. He convinced me to stop taking a chemo medication with the understanding that if I needed to go back on he would not hesitate. Then he left.

Dr. Klarnet has treated my Mother with the utmost respect and compassion over the last year.
