Dr. Jay Michel Rubin, MD

Very good doctor, and made me feel very comfortable. Removed cataract from left eye. He will remove from right eye in four weeks. I would recommend Dr. Rubin for your eye care from young age to seniors.

He has been okay. But when I came to him with possible new procedures for macular degeneration, he dismissed them out of hand. I lost faith in him because he showed no curiosity or open-mindedness.

He is a great Doctor, he saved my sons eye. He in my books is one of the BEST.

It was outrageous to pay 150 dollars for contact lenses fittings. I just moved back here from San Marcos and for four years, i did not have to pay a cent because both of my insurance pays for them. I asked Dr. Rubin if we can call the San Marcos and find out how it worked. The reply I got from him was , "Go see somebody else if you dont want to pay for this." This was certainly not a caring doctor if he is not willing to work with me. I personally would not put my life nor my eyes in his hands if he treats me like this. Nope, I walked out before he set his hands on my eyes.

I waited over an hour to see this doctor only to be told by one of his techs that I don't have vision problems. I have worn glasses since grade school. It was all very outrageous.
