Dr. Jaya Lakshmi Krishna

I heard good things about dr Jaya from community friends. I was trying to make an appointment with Dr Krishna since I was assigned to her by my insurance company Wellcare. Breanna picked up my call to make an appointment and then as soon as I told her that I have a new insurance card from wellcare medicare, she cancelled the appointment by saying that she don't accept that card, Even though WELLCARE MEDICARE itself told me that Dr Krishna is our in-network doctor. Breanna was extremely rude and didn't bother to care about me and hang up the call

I ended up going to Dr.Krishna after she took over from my doctor who retired. What a huge difference! She appears to be uninterested in a patient during an exam and is condescending. She does not return calls and her office staff is rude. I changed to another doctor immediately and requested my lab results from her office. Two weeks later, my doctor has not recieved them. Called Krishna's office 3 times and was told they "don't fax or send requests electronically". There is "somebody who comes from their main office once a month (!!!!!) and processes the requests". This is the way Krishna's office services the patients. What a striking chance this office runs its business after two great doctors retired. What a shame!

This office just lost a family of 4 due to their inability to work in a field specified for patient quality. First child went in, viral cold, she prescribed antibiotics with no symptoms of infection. And because parent managed diabetes for 12 years of no medicines, diet and exercise controlled, she demeaned my ability to care for myself speaking as if what I'd been doing went against her practices. Last, my daughter waited weeks to get in for gastrointestinal issues, the old lady as receptionist called after appointment was confirmed 2 days prior, stating to be there 30 minutes before. Mind you, it was second to last appointment, 3pm, and because we arrived at 2:50, major accident shut the interstate down, the elderly lady said the doctor said we had to reschedule. There was literally NOONE in the waiting room and only 1 other car in parking lot. The lady came off as condescending and outright sarcastically rude. We will see how this military family leaves her practice but review our… disgusting experience. Photos and videos taken. Unacceptable.

I was inpatient in the Hospital. She was so nice and caring and funny! Great Doctor!

I found Dr. Krishna to be very attentive, and reassuring. I did not feel rushed, she listened to what I had to say, and made the appropriate referrals. I brought my family to the appointment and she seemed very comfortable listening to their concerns and addressing them. I am new to Jacksonville and on a personal note she gave me great advice on where to get great spices in town, as she is a fellow foodie.
