Dr. Ward seems to have too many patients to provide a diligent quality of care. Her staff is very helpful but doesn't always call back in a timely manor. Dr. Ward has never called back personally and when I questioned a treatment that involved steroid infusions, nobody called back at all. Steroid infusions where not mentioned when she originally explained the treatment. I was prescribed steroid infusions once and went completely blind in my left eye and fell and broke my hip several days later. It may have been coincidental but I wanted to know if the treatment was needed with steroids. Nobody returned my call. I found a doctor with U of M and shortly after contacting her for a referral, she discharged me from her practice. It's been over 2 years since I've been treated for my M.S. and she showed no indication that my health was a concern. I would not recommend becoming a patient even though doctors that treat M.S. are rare. I would suggest being as diligent at finding a M.S. doctor as… you would like your doctor to care for you.

I have seen Dr. WARD for over 5 years. She is an amazing doctor for MS care. She answers all my questions and does not talk down to me. She is always available by email when I need something. I am impressed. She stays current on research and I count on that.
