Dr. Jea Youl Lee, MD

Dr Lee burned deep holes in my lower leg. Radiation for skin cancer 2011. Kept telling staff it was hurting & burning deep inside (felt like the bone) a year later ulcerations began to develop. He was too busy with the grand opening of the Gamma Knife machine to deal with me. He never once placed his hands on me or even came in the room. He would stand in the door. When I returned a year later to see what could be done about my leg he said "what do you want me to do". Needless to say I left there not knowing which way to turn. In the meantime over the next 3 years all points of the radiation became increasingly ulcerated. I have been to 5 doctors to try and do something about this. Most have tried but to no avail. Now I've been told that long term IV antibiotics or amputation may be in my future. I would not let him treat anyone or ever recommend him to my worst enemy.

i have had cancer several times. this time, i was sent to the best-dr. jea lee, m. d., radiation oncologist. i liked him the minute i saw him. he inspires trust. i have always loved the chinese people, anyway. down in the miss. delta, as a barefoot boy, my grandmother would send me to their grocery store for food. " they always make the highest grades in school", she told me over and over. i used to eat at chinese restaurants all the time! i just love the chinese people. period. dr. lee is the best! you can go to other radiation oncologists, sure. but, why would you want to? he is methodical. he is precise. i am deeply honored to be his patient!

Dr Lee should attend the local English as a Second Language to acquire a minimum proficiency in the regional culture and language. While a nurse will be available to explain what he is saying this does not encourage a full exchange of information or give a sense of reliability and therefore comfortMoreover how do you obtain informed consent without a full exploration of pros and cons of the proposed treatment.
