Dr. Jean Anne Cairns, MD

This was my daughter- law- 1st pregnancy and a young mother. She went to this doctor and started having pains. The doctor never ask her what type of pains or ask to check her out, just said she would write her a script for light duty from her job, but it took multiple tries to obtain the light duty slip, she had to physically go to the office to find out what was the hold up. It took her a week to get a slip for light duty. My DIL ask multiple times to have a rx prenatal vitamins called in and it was never done. They don't answer the phone and don't return calls. When she informed me of this madness I immediately found her a new physician who is professional at her job as well as the staff that she loves! This lady is playing with the wrong soon-to-be Glam- Ma! I don't recommend this doctor.

I went to Dr Cairns previously. In 2011 we scheduled a hysterectomy at the time which she told me she was leaving my ovaries. I told her i didn't want her to leave them as they did not expell hormones which i found out years before through a fertility specialist. She refused to remove them so we went ahead with the surgery. immediately after surgery i had to be put on meds to control my hormones because like i said no production from my ovaries. In 2017 i was diagnosed with ovarian cancer which then with chemo and my immunity i ended up with flesh eating bacteria in the spot of my stomach where my might over is. now i am so disfigured in that part of my stomach it makes me ill to even look at it. If she would have just listened i would have never endured this. Don't ever go to her.

She did a great job on my actual surgery which I guess is the most important part. However, I went in for my surgery and never saw her once. I never saw her before my surgery, after my surgery or the three days following that I was in the hospital. She spent very little time with me any time I have been in her office. Not a very informative person at all. But again, the surgery went great with great results.

I went to Dr. Cairnes for 10 years and recently needed a hysterectomy, and she said she could do it! Well, I went into surgery and she cut me open and sewed me back up and said it was too difficult! I was in the hospital for 3 days in pain and she is making me suffer while I have to seek out a surgeon who can finish her mess! Don't ever let her do any surgery on you, all she worried about that day was delivering babies, not surgical patients! BAD doctor PERIOD! She is always in a hurry, never spends time with you!

I went to her with concerns about a very heavy period. She just told me it was normal. Everything I read says it is not. I had to push to get her to run any tests. She didn't help me at all. I need to find a new doctor who will actually help me with my problem.

This is my first pregnancy i have hyperemisis i constantly throw up. She wouldnt prescrible me anything to help me. She told me and my boyfriend if you keep getting sick just keep going to the ER. Like it was no concern that i am not getting any nutrients for my baby.She tried to make my appointments as quick as possible like I didn't matter as a patient to her, she had better things she could be doing.

I do not care for Dr. Cairn at all. She delivered my baby in 2007 and I was not happy with her at all. She seemed as if my delivery was an inconvience for her. After I left the hospital I called her office the next day because I felt I needed to be seen by her and I was unable to get an appointment. Their nurse called me and ordered me a perscription which is not what I needed. I do like her partner Dr. Mondary but unfortunatly she was not the one to deliver my baby. I will not return to them in fear of being stuck with Dr. Cairn again. She was not terrible but not good in my opinion. Also I always had a long wait in their waiting room and often there was no where to park in their parking lot either. Their patient privacy is lacking too. While I was sitting in their back hallway I over heard an employee on the phone speaking about another patient and she clearly and loudly said her name several times and also what STD she had. She was on the phone with a lab office and was… checking to see if the labs were correct. She should of had the door shut.

Dr. Cairns is more than a doctor. She felt like a good friend when I had to talk to her. I was comfortable with her, like she actually cared about what I was saying. I wish all doctors were as caring as she is.
