Dr. Jean H Kang

She might be a good at what she does but her people listening skills and understanding patient pain are non existent. I went to her to get a second opinion on my post- root canal related symptoms that make my daily life very uncomfortable and painful for months now. Dr. Kang was nice enough to call me back when I had more questions but that was the end of her niceness. When I tried to explain my new symptoms she laughed at me and said that 2 days ago you did not mention these??. Laughing at the patient who is already feeling completely helpless because the doctors are not taking you seriously is just mortifying. Dr. Kang, if you are reading this, know that being a good doctor is not all about how well you fix the root, it’s also about being better, compassionate person, patients don’t lie about their symptoms, they want help!

This women is so unprofessional with an attitude problem. I had to leave because I felt so uncomfortable. I was referred to her because people said she was “good” but in fact this was the worst dentist and practice I have ever seen. She over charged, very rude and condescending. She does not listen to her patience and assumes that she knows best. I needed to get a root canal done but she wanted me to have more pain than I already have in order for her to work on my tooth. She is not a problem solver but a problem starter. I would never step foot in this place again.

Dr. Kang was empathic and informative. A movie is shown before the procedure that explains what is about to happen. I was in a lot of pain beforebthebtiot canal and none after. No pain during the procedure either. She seems to get satisfaction from helping her patients. Big five staff is helpful and available.
