My retired wife & I have been visiting S. Florida doctors for over twenty years. We have had many good experiences but probably more negative than we should expect from the medical profession. Meeting Dr Awaida was a pleasant experience. He demonstrated thorough professional knowledge, and diagnosed problems that were missed by other doctors. My wife's heart is in good care with Dr. Awaida!!! Thank you Doctor!

Dr. Awaida is an outstanding doctor. He takes care of my mom as she is family . He spends time explaining all details pertaining to her care and medications. He is very compassionate and knowledgeable.

Front office and Front desk staff. NO idea of directions to help patients with on the phone. Leave you sitting in outer office long periods of time without even speaking to you.

This man gave me a bad diagnosis. He wanted me to take pills that made me sick to my stomach and dizzy. Then when I commented, he refused to do my cardiac cath. Here I sit in Derry Medical waiting for heart surgery.

I saw Dr. Awaida a few years ago while he was in practice with a different cardiologist in Boca Raton. When he and that other doctor parted company, I did not know how to find Dr. Awaida, but now I am very happy to find Dr. Awaida in practice in this area. I am going to make an apt with him in the next few days because of his professionalism and his warm personal manner while dealing with a frightened and very ill patient. That is the best endorsement I can think of to place my life in his hands again.

Doing a good job looking into my AF problem. On mobile monitor now for 28 days. Within that time I have been to his office three times before prescribing anti arrhythmia therapy. His staff is friendly, helpful and competent. I recommend him.
