Dr. Jean-Pierre Forage, MD

After the surgery, Dr. Forage told me it was the first time he'd done that procedure. Messed me up for life. Every day I'm reminded of the botched job. Bedside manner was dismissive. Just say no.

I was unsure about having my gall bladder removed as I had dealt with it through natural remedies for over 5 years. Dr. Forage assured me I would have no scarring after about 6 months. I told him I would like to see the gallstones after the surgery as I was truly interested in how many and how large they were. He told me he would show them to me. Afterwards he claimed he showed them to me in recovery. I have no memory of this and I am sure he would have been aware that with sedation I would not be able to understand what was being shown. Now 4 years later I still have 4 very visible and unattractive scars on my abdomen. I feel he was deceptive and dismissive of me.

Dr. Forage removed non-cancerous mass from above my breast. Got it all. Wonderful personality, wonderful bedside manner. Very caring and thorough.

Dr. Forage spent 45 minutes with me during my initial diagnosis. He was friendly and answered all of my questions. I felt he genuinely cared about me as a person.My gall bladder surgery went beautifully, and he checked on me a couple of times while I was in recovery.The follow up visit at his office a week later was brief, but again, he answered my questions and was very friendly.Dr. Forage has extremely good credentials, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and competent surgeon.

Acted as if he thought of himself as some sort of demi-god. Terrible communication skills. Would never go to him again nor would I recommend him.

Dr. Forage is an excellent surgeon. He did a fine job taking out my gangrenous gall bladder. I was given an immediate appointment even with little notice, showed up at his office in incredible pain, and was cared for very promptly. His follow up care was great and he was very thorough about answering questions. I would highly recommend him and would request him again if I ever need another surgery.
