Reinhold is a subpar doctor with a lukewarm bedside manner and a troll staff. Listen, as a patient I don’t feel I’m respected or heard. I went in looking for answers, and left with more questions. His staff is so unfriendly it borders on harassment. He’s aware of this because once I complained I was told that the office staff is horrible, and that they’re “always getting complaints”. Right. Well, Las Cruces is a big city, we have other GI specialists in the area without an ego and without a staff that treats you like you’re having an importation in a back-ally in Zimbabwe. I have an appointment with another doctor. RUN!

Reinhold has a staff that is absolutely unprofessional. To say they are rude is an understatement. Reinhold knows this, as I was told everyone complains about how rude they are. I had to listen to the girls in the office discuss other patients health issues. Absolutely uncalled for. As a patient, I don’t feel comfortable with this GI doctor. He has an abrasive bedside manner and is generally unconcerned about my quality of life. I’ve sense seen my practitioner and have an appointment with another specialist in town. This isn’t a personal attack against Reinhold, but a warning to prospective patients to seek out another doctor with a better more compassionate staff. If you don’t believe me, by all means, call the number above this review and see for yourself. The trolls in the office have run me off. I’ll take my health elsewhere.

I have been a patient of Dr. Reinhold for several years. During that time I have had recurring symptoms (unintended weight loss, epigastric pain, heartburn, and other digestive problems) that Reinhold could not determine the cause even after many tests and procedures. At a Nov. 2019 visit , he counted off all the tests and procedures that had been done without a definite diagnosis and then mentioned "perceived pain." I asked if he meant that I was imagining the pain and he said, "That is exactly what I mean." He was rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. I was referred to a doctor in El Paso who, after several tests and procedures, diagnosed my problem as chronic pancreatitis with extensive damage to my pancreas. I blame Reinhold for failure to diagnose my problem years ago which would have limited the damage to my pancreas.

Doctor Reinhold made a very unpleasant procedure as easy as it can be. Everyone at the center was laid back and professional. The whole procedure was done in no time. He’s Superman!

Always in a rush and very Cocky

Although I had told him of my previous colonoscopy (only 4 years ago), and the biopsy results and diagnosis; AND my total and complete REFUSAL to even consider using steroids to treat my condition, I underwent another colonoscopy, at his behest. Of course, the results were the same as previously - which was to be expected. However, following the procedure, I never saw the doctor again - instead, I received a LETTER in the mail confirming the biopsy results, and advising me that a prescription for a STEROID had been called to my pharmacy. In addition to the colonoscopy rx, I also was prescribed a blood test for celiac disease, which I had done at my local hospital the day after my original appointment; the results of which were sent to himl - There was no mention of the blood test results, in the letter; and phone call to his office has been ignored.

He is always very polite & such a good listener! He takes the time to listen what I had to say. Happy to have him as myGastroenterologist. :)
