Dr. Jean Margaret Welsh, MD

Dr. Welsh is a very caring doctor. Dr. Welsh is very flexible and accommodating. She has a very dedicated and efficient staff.

She was right about my diagnosis caring.

I was seen within fifteen minutes. She made recommendations to other specialist .took time to explain things to me. I felt Comfortable talking with her, friendly and caring, I recommend this Doctor to every one

I was a new patient and had an appointment at 10:30am. I got there at 10:20am to fill out paperwork. I waited in the waiting room for 10minutes then waited in the exam room for an hour. The doctor never saw me nor was she even at the building. I wasted an hour and 15min of my morning. No one even told me she was running late. There was another elderly woman waiting for her as well. Poor lady was freezing cold and no one checked on her to tell her the doctor was running late. She was waiting an hour. I walked out Of there without ever seeing the doctor and the elderly woman did the same. Would not recommend this doctor or this doctors office! No respect for their patients.

Appointment was at 10:30am and was not seen until 12:30pm. No respect of time, I had to go to work after that LATE. a lot of clinical volunteers that does her job so when she comes in she sees you for a good 20 minutes and that is it. The office has been scheduling patients early in the morning, REFUSES to tell you in advance that she won't be coming in until the day of your appointment so you have to wait more than an hour to be seen. Just schedule patients when the doctor is there. Courteous staff but unprofessional practice.

1st visit - - 10am appt she walked in at 11:30 - Hundreds of patients files were overflowing from file cabinets and on tables throughout the office. - Well after 12 noon she walked in the exam room introduced herself and asked how I was doing. My response: irritated and annoyed Her response: okay great Me: So in addition to being late you also don't listen Her: So...EXCUSE ME? Me: I told you that I was irritated and annoyed and it did not register with you. I cannot believe I've had to wait this long to be seen Her: Well, I'm here now Me ::Blink::Blink [appointment proceeds] While I and getting her background information she picks up her Bluetooth earbud from around her neck and takes a phone call! It went downhill from there!

When I was contacted by Dr. Welsh after trying to reach her earlier in the afternoon, she was very short, abrupt and insensitive. I only asked her if she knew what hours she would be in her office so I can stop by to get the referral(Didn't know if she needed to be there or not-I explained that I just needed to know next steps for a situation like this. She responded in a very brash way "No! No! No! You see how my office is always packed. You just have to wait to be seen." Well, I dont' know this because I am a new patient and have only been at this office once. And, that very well may be true but I don't think this is how you speak to any patient let alone someone who just received very scary results! She is too cold and I plan to find me a doctor that I can talk to and who is more compassionate. This encounter has really upset me.

I've been there once and was i nightmare.No place to seat and too crowded.

Absolutely the worst office I have ever been too. The wait time was horrendous, got there at 10:30 am did not leave until 2:30 pm, the waiting room was crowded, chairs very uncomfortable. Will not ever go back, contacted my insurance plan the next day to change doctors.

I like Dr. Welsh. I went to her for ove r 10 years. The problem is she has no respect for the time of others. Wait times have always been long. The last visit was the last straw: over 4 hours. Once she walks into the exam room, she gives me her attention. I like her personally. Also, when I called to make an appt for my annual physical, it took 2 months to get in. In the waiting room on my last visit, others had stories of long wait times. Like the doctor doesn't arrive for 1.5 hours after the first appointment is scheduled. I'm done. I'm finding another doctor.
