Dr. Jean Alice Wisgirda, MD

Dr. Wisgirda is a remarkable physician. She actively listens and spends time understanding your concerns and then helps you decide on the most appropriate treatment method. She is extremely caring, compassionate and devoted to her patients. She even came into the office on her day off to perform a procedure on me because I had problems tolerating a prior procedure. You are in fabulous hands with Dr. Wisgirda.

I saw Dr. Wisgirda for my prenatal visits. She also made the extra effort to be there at the birth of my child. I then saw her for postpartum follow up. She always listens carefully to me, gives wise advice, tries to honor my requests, spends good time at each appointment with me, and gives excellent care. I can't praise her enough for how she coached me at the delivery of my baby - everything went so smoothly.

I've had Dr. Wisgirda as my OB/GYN for the past 16 years. In those 16 years, I had two high risk pregnancies in which I had 2 healthy children and 1 GYN surgery. My surgery went wonderful and recovery was minimal. But what stood out the most was that Dr. Wisgirda came and saw me prior to my surgery in the preop admitting area and talked to me for about 10-15 minutes while the surgical room was being prepared. She also saw me after the surgery was over and spoke to my husband. I appreciate her compassion and dedication to her patients which makes her so special.

Commonwealth OBGYN is the BEST ever. I have been going to this office for the last 15 years and the customer service is and has always been top notch. This entire practice takes their time, is always very courteous, gives excellent advice and always goes far and beyond. More dr's should have their bedside manner. They have also made my first pregnancy a great one by always being readily available, being so knowledgeable and showing sincere interest and concern.
