Dr. Jeanette Lillian Bourne, MD

I wish I could say that I had a good experience with Dr. Bourne. In my honest opinion I think she needs to go back to family practice or the OB-GYN department. I think that’s where she came from in the first place because pain management isn’t her specialty but hey, that’s my opinion. When patients come to a “pain clinic” they are coming to get relief. I do understand that there are people who are “seekers” out there and I do pray for them but the patients who come in with legitimate pain need to be treated for their condition. To me she seems like cutting you down to less than what you have been taking for years or trying to take you off of your medication all together is what she is concerned with and I promise I do understand that some people need to do just that but not the ones who have chronic pain and that will always have chronic pain! It just doesn’t work that way. If you’re taking you’re medicine right and not doing other drugs that should prove and show that you’re only… needing help in one area which you can’t help by yourself. And for us who have to have pain medication, we don’t even want to be taking it or at least some of us don’t. So with this being said...my own personal opinion about Dr. Bourne is that she should not be practicing in pain management because I don’t see her having the compassion for it nor the knowledge of understanding that some of us truly need pain medication to live a somewhat normal life. And the review that was given before mine is spot on! It honestly described Dr. Bourne to the T (sadly)

I find my experiences with dr Bourne to be pleasant as she’s friendly shows genuine concern very knowledgeable regarding my back pain an my pain from my beurgers disease. I’ve been very happy
