Dr. Jeanine Valdez, MD

I’ve seen Dr. Valdez several times, including a surgery. I give her 2 stars instead of 1 because I believe she did well as technician for the surgery. However, all of my in-person experiences were like dealing with a heartless robot. She would sulk, dragging her feet, into the room each appointment. Surely, that didn’t make me feel welcome. One would hope their physician cares for them, and wants to work toward a reasonable solution together. Instead, every step was like pulling teeth with her. My questions were met with blunt, cold, and shocking retorts. When I asked if there was a paper to sign that said I didn’t want my uterus removed during the surgery if that became an option, she told me that I could just bleed out on the table and keep my uterus. Wow! And that’s just one of these kinds of comments. This woman shouldn’t be interacting with patients and traumatizing them, emotionally or otherwise.

Dr. Valdez took plenty of time to listen to my symptoms and evaluate me before making a diagnosis. I am very pleased with how polite and friendly she is and I feel like she really cares about my health. When I went in for a follow-up visit, after a surgical procedure, she thoroughly explained the pictures she took during the operation and went through how my recovery should progress. I am 48 years old and have seen my fair share of doctors; I feel like this one is top notch.

Dr Valdez was the doctor on call when I delivered my child and it was a nightmare. Dr Valdez was extremely cold and dismissive during my delivery as well as afterward. I suffered from a traumatic birth injury while in her care - the doctor who treated my injury stated that it should have been discovered by delivering dr and treated right away. When I was pregnant, friends would tell me that you will forget how painful the delivery was and they were right, however I still can't shake how poorly I was treated by Dr Valdez.
