Dr. Jeanne Ann Mowry, MD

When my son was 10 years old he was diagnosed with Good Pasture's Disease, a very rare autoimmune disease that destroys the kidneys and lungs and may cause death in a very short time if not treated right away. Thankfully with the help of Dr. Mowry and several other Kidney Specialists at Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland they were able to diagnose it properly and get him the necessary treatment he needed. Dr. Mowry continued to treat him and within a few months he was free of the Good Pasture's Disease. The disease destroyed much of his kidneys (one functions at 15%, the other at 20%), so my son , now 15, continues under her care for Chronic Kidney Disease. Dr. Mowry has always been very attentive and easy to talk to. She listens well and takes concerns seriously. Because of her and a few other specialists at Doernbecher my son is alive and doing very well. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a Kidney Doctor.

My son has a very rare genetic disorder that causes serious kidney issues. Dr. Mowery went above and beyond to research his disorder, communicate with his specialist (out of state) and helped us stay on top of all the labs and regular testing that needed to be done. We have since switched insurance providers and had to leave her care, no one comes close to the level of care we received from her.
