The doctor was knowledgeable, pleasant, and took her time to understand my issues. My problem with the practice lies mostly with the staff. Although friendly, they are not knowledgeable about basic insurance info. The required paperwork for initial visit was excessive and filled out on a pad at the office. Very awkward and unfamiliar and took far too long to complete. Even the follow-up visit required re-entry of several pages of medical history that already had been provided. Unfortunately, that experience alone is enough to keep me from returning to that office.

Not too sure where all the positive reviews are coming from but Dr. George-Richardson just isn’t that in my opinion. First impression was ok enough to make me want to come back and agree to a surgery for my foot. But after the surgery, my foot did not look the way I hoped. But I trusted the process for healing. Now my foot is as healed as it’s going to be and MY TOE IS STILL NOT STRAIGHT. It’s actually being directed the opposite way and my toe won’t bend despite the PT I’ve done. She’s money hungry. On my last appointment of visiting her, she refused to see me unless I paid towards a bill she couldn’t even provide me the details for. So I drove all the way to Ellicott City just to sit in the waiting room while she had her receptionist (Rose, who was really sweet btw) come back and forth being the translator between us when she could have just came out and explained why I’m giving them money without seeing a full breakdown of why I’m paying what I’m paying when my insurance covered… everything to my knowledge. Now after I let her go, I still have a bill. I called up to make payments on it and she tells the receptionist lady (this time Julie) that there’s a minimum I have to pay. This Dr. makes up the rules as she goes. Because when Rose was explaining that I could just make a payment for whatever I could, it was just that. Now when I call to make a payment, it’s not whatever I can pay…there’s now a minimum payment … interesting. Completely unprofessional and could care less either. She didn’t care that I sent her a form over 1.5 weeks prior to my start date for work which she didn’t sign until THE DAY OF ME STARTING WORK AGAIN (messing up my money). And lacks communication because it turns out she only didn’t complete the paperwork because she believed I never paid the $10 for her completing paperwork. So I ended up starting work the next week because of her lack of communication and stubbornness. I wanted to keep hope alive with her because she was a black Podiatrist but as sad as it is to say, I regret my experience and decision. There’s other podiatrist out there that won’t send you to other places to get X-rays and pay more copays because they do it in their office. And way more podiatrists out here that will actually pay attention to your needs because my foot problem still exists. I’ve also noticed how fast she runs through staff…probably because her attitude isn’t the best to be around. All of this is my personal experience and if you choose to still proceed, I hope yours is better than mine. And Dr. George-Richardson…if you’re reading this…. I’m still waiting for my receipt. The pettiness is very unprofessional. Thank you.

Dr. Jeannine is a nice doctor but failed to perform ingrown toenail surgery removal surgery. now after few months, the ingrown toenail started to grow again. she did not remove the entire ingrown nail as she thought she did. she did not block blood flow to the toe so she can perform clean and complete removal. even though she applied a chemical compound that would prevent the nail from growing again, the nail is now growing and the pain is unbearable.

Dr. J. G. Richardson was originally my mom’s podiatrist, my mom often spoke well of her podiatrist visits. Then when it came time for me to seek a podiatrist, it only was only wise to go with Dr. Richardson. Each visit is professional, kind, caring and concerned for my overall health. The new staff and new location are an added bonus to my podiatry care. I’m happy and will recommend Dr. J.G. Richardson to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring podiatrist.
