Dr. Jeannine Koay Hoang, MD

I just had a checkup today and some questions answered with respect to bags under my eyes. I am considering Dr Hoang's options.....

I've been to her office in Mansfield for treatments but have never seen her, Dr. Hoang. The doctor has lots of responsibility keeping all her locations functioning. She's more of a business woman than a doctor.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Hoang's for 10 years. She is absolutely incredible. Her full body exams are exactly that - she covers everything from head to toe. Dr. Hoang is extremely caring, low key, and very easy to talk to about any medical concerns. I have recommended her to friends and they are extremely pleased with her also.

You will absolutely not find any better!!

Very clear and patient in describing my skin issues.

I've been a patient for 9 years and I couldn't be happier. I am also very grateful that I sent my friends to them for routine skin checks. Two of them in particular were found to have skin cancer and it was able to be treated there. Had I not sent them, it could have ended up much worse.

I was disappointed with my visit. I've had psoriasis for 40yrs. I'm overweight.News flash, I know I'm overwt, Have been all my life. First I saw her PA she referred to my diet. Then the DR came in and before discussing options for my skin she spent 3/4 of my visit discussing weight and diet. If I wanted a weight doctor, would have made appt with one. Not going back.

Very inexperienced. I had a rare skin condition that she misdiagnosed as eczema. My primary care physician diagnosed it correctly instead. She has a nice demeanor but that doesn't make up for her lack of medical wisdom and knowledge.

Dermatologist recommended juvederm for circles under my eyes. It is absolutely horrible and much, much worse than before. More bags, dark circles, and emphasizes crows feet wrinkles. I knew that it would not remove wrinkles and this was explained to me, but I had no idea it would make everything look worse. Save your money for the much more effective botox (have had botox in my forehead for several years with fabulous results!) and do not pay the very expensive price for juvederm. At least not for dark circles under the eye. My eyes had terrible bruising under them for over a week. I am considering having the injections to dissolve the juvederm, but I hate to go through all the black, blue and yellow again! Very, very disappointed despite being assured by both the physician and the PA that it would help.

Very caring of her patients. Doesn't rush & answers all questions. ASAP appointments available easily. I would use no other dermatologist in DFW.
