Dr. Jed B Vandenberghe, MD

He is the best doctor anyone in my family has ever seen. He may not be as warm and fuzzy as some others, but he truly cares about the patients by researching into the root of the problems they have rather than just prescribing something right away. We moved out of state and I am so disappointed I cannot find any that come close to his ability and outlook on medicine. He's truly one of a kind.

I went to Dr Vandenberghe as a kid. He was my favorite! I now take my daughter to him, & am just as happy! He always gets us right in, calls back very soon with answers to questions, & is a wonderful Dr. Thank you Dr V!

Wonderfully competent Physician and staff. I was very pleased with the 21 years of treatment for my 2 children.

Dr. Vendenberghe really listens to his patients. He does not think he knows it all like some other doctors and really values a parent's input about his or her child. It's wonderfully refreshing.

Dr. V is anything but one size fits all! He's not a pill pusher. He spends plenty of time with us any time we are there, and I have never had trouble getting an appointment! Just schedule your next visit if you need one before you leave. Any time one of my kids has gotten sick, they can have been able to fit us in the same day. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else, and any time we think about moving, my first thought is how close we'd be to Dr. V's office. He has 9 kids of his own & we all just love him, including my kids!

He should not be accepting new patients. Getting an appointment once your child is in their system is impossible. I was not told I needed to schedule when we were there last and called to schedule a 4-month visit (scheduled vaccines) two weeks ahead- and was offered an appointment when she would be nearly 6 months. Useless. It makes no sense this doctor takes new clients. Time spent when we are there is extremely minimal, "solutions" to problems are one-size fits all without investigation or taking the time to understand the problem. This is a terrible, broken health care system. We are happily transferring care to a nurse practitioner who is not part of big corporate care.

Although facilities seem a little out dated, it is clean and office staff are especially kind and accommodating. Dr. Jed has been great with our son in diagnosing accurately, with compassion and always welcomes any questions I have as a first time mother. He is also willing to do alternative vaccination scheduling if you don't want to do a traditional vaccination schedule. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants a caring dr. for their little ones.

Dr. V. has been our pediatrican for 20 years. When we had our first child she was an apnea baby(would stop breathing) he was so attentive, he gave us his home phone number. We could call him anytime of the day. He has always been a great Dr. with his attentiveness, promptness to appt time, with diagnois of problem and treatment. I would very much recommend Dr. V for any one looking for a new Ped. Dr. I drive 30 minutes still just to have my kids see him.

Dr.Vandenberghe is the best! He takes great care of us and is always right on. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
