Dr. Jeffrey N Spaw, MD

I am very disappointed in Dr J Spaw. He did my surgery on a Thursday Saturday I received a call from his nurse saying he was positive for Covid. I was so sick for two months after my surgery. Sick at both ends and couldn’t take ANY pain pills. I suffered for two months being sick, not able to sleep or eat. It was a nightmare. Well, I got a bill for $500 sent to collections. Why should I pay Dr Spaw for giving me Covid and suffering for two months. That’s crazy! Dr Spaw owed me at least an apology that he never did tell me. Very disappointed in his actions.

I had gone to dr. Spaw for many years but in my last surgery with him he decided to screw my ankle up and crippled me for life. I've had to undergo a European technique to try to straighten my ankle out and at this time I am scheduled to undergo another procedure. Almost three years of solid pain and not being able to take care of of my life like I did has changed everything for me. I don't know why he decided to change but I'm really sorry I went to him now. I believe once he might have been a really good doctor but after finding out in 2000 he punched a toddler I am very upset if not being aware of this information when I first started seeing him. If I would have been I would have never gone to a doctor that can punch a toddler.

Where are you?? You are truly missed. You are the best orthopaedic Dr. in this area please let us know how to find you.

Have not been able to find out where doc Spaw has gone too. Seems like nobody knows his where abouts. The people at his office or any other place. Does anybody heard anything about where he might be.

He is awesome fixed all my problems

One year ago Dr Spaw replaced my hip, wonderful job, no pain, problems at all, cannot speak enough about this experience as I am not a patient who throws compliments around to Doctors, but Dr Spaw is number one in my opinion.

Had good luck with his office. Came in expecting to have surgery but Dr. Spaw diagnosed my knee condition and was able to treat it properly without surgery.

Office staff, nurses and PA's all seem like they want to do their job. Somewhere there is a dropping of the ball. Total lack of communication between departments. Maybe the travel between Brenham office and College Station office is too much. Nurse for these physicians hung up on me when I questioned her why it took almost 40 days to get authorization for the Med Dr. Spaw ordered. I feel the physicians are excellent but if they can't get staff including nurses and PA's on same wave length, no one benefits.

I received a recommendation from my general practitioner for this group for a knee injury. I could not find any in-depth information on the web about the number of the procedures performed for what I require so I called the office to inquire and set up an appointment. No one answers the phone. You can leave a message for a tech or try to talk with the office manager, but the manager's phone rings and rings and rings with no message option and no answer. Very bizarre office setup.

Dr. Spaw is very professional and at the same time, very caring. He remembers you and gives health care the with the end result being favorable. Dr. Spaw has been our Dr. for many years and the pre op and post op have all been favorable. I will continue to highly recommend him.
