I got a referral from the doctor I trust most, my pulmonologist, for a new PCP. I have been with Doctor Alford over a year now. He coordinates ALL of my treatment with Pulmonary, Endocrinologist, Rheumatologist, Orthopedics, Neurologist, and Cardio like I have never seen. He is on the ball with everything I'm going through, has gotten my glucose and weight down, am pulling off of some of my assorted meds, and feel better than I have in decades! He spends a lot of time with me and I never have to wait more than 10 minutes. I left my previous PCP of 20+ years because I could never get in to see him without having to book 3 months ahead. Dr. Alford can usually see me within a day or 2. He is aware of my insurance and which labs they recommend and medications that are preferred by my carrier. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Alford and his medical practice and employees! Always treated with a smile and respect. If they say they will do something, it is taken care of!

In my honest opinion, his etiquette and professionalism, never mind the compassion, is completely lacking.. "turn your head so that you don't cough in my face"..

We adore Dr. Alford. he takes his time and listens. He is very thorough. His assistant is a bit rude though.

This office has very inefficient communication skills and poor treatment of patients. They also over-bill you and when they are confronted by over-whelming evidence, they still won't admit to it or even apologize for it. Don't be fooled and let them take advantage of your insurance.

All I have to say is be careful Dr. Alford doesn't overbill your insurance. Just warning everyone else because I had a really bad experience here.

Would not go back to doctor's office. His admin. assistant is the rudest most obnoxious person I have ever encountered, she can't follow doctor's orders and is extremely argumentative. Doctor won't correct this problem so I won't be going back and would recommend you find another specialist in this area, there are a number of good ones.
