Dr. Mossel grew up in Byron Center. He achieved his Bachelor of Science degree at Central Michigan University and his Doctorate at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mossel did his residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and the VA and University of Arizona in Tucson. Dr. Mossel resides in Big Rapids with his wife, Jenny, three children and multiple large dogs and cats. He believes in supporting his community in many different aspects. He is also an avid supporter of Ferris State University athletics. In his free time, he enjoys outdoors adventures including hiking, alpine mountain climbing, hunting, fishing, biking, and multiple sports. Dr. Mossel and wife are also co-owners of Crossfit Big Rapids. Dr. Mossel looks forward to providing friendly, expert podiatric care for our community for many years to come.**Big Rapids has office hours for Paperwork and/or Billing - NO PATIENT CARE - on Wednesdays 9am to 5pm (Lunch 12-1) and on Fridays 9am to 12pm**
