Dr. Jeffrey Steven Altman, MD

I have had Dr Altman remove a few skin cancer spots. It's all ways painless and he is informative.

I saw Dr. Altman for the first time a little over a year ago for a routine preventative check of my skin and a few moles I was concerned about in particular. I was MOST FAVORABLY IMPRESSED with Dr. Altman!!! He was not just professional and competent and right on time (all extremely important) but he was also a most genuinely nice care provider!!! First, before the exam, he stopped and listened to me and my concerns. He looked me right in the eye and talked to me. And not like "in one ear and out the other" but rather genuinely listened to me and validated my concerns. Once my exam was finished, Dr. Altman stopped what he was doing, looked me in the eye again (love that) and talked directly to me about what he saw - versus while he was distracted looking at my back or typing case notes on a computer screen while I was getting dressed or whatever. How utterly refreshing!!! He carefully explained what was going on with my skin and moles - and what wasn't. I have a bit of sun… damaged skin from years on the back of a Harley and Dr. Altman offered many suggestions on UV protection as well as skin care for a woman my age. Frankly, it was ONE OF THE NICEST EXPERIENCES I'VE EVER HAD IN A DOCTOR'S OFFICE and I should have written this review a year ago. I went back to Doctor Altman just a few days ago to have a bothersome cyst removed. He was completely consistent with my first experience with him and again an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was literally in and out with the procedure completed and on my way back to work in 20 minutes flat. Also worth a mention is that DR. Altman isn't just a friend of the LGBTQ community, but an advocate and ally. My sincere thanks to Dr. Altman for the excellent care and just overall good experience.

Great Dermatologist!!!

Dr. Altman is patient friendly. He takes the time to explain current research as he makes his recommendations for treatment and also spends time listening to you as a patient. As a result you feel you are working together with the treatment plan. Each time is a memorable experience. I have been with him a long time and appreciate all he has done for me.

I completely trust Dr. Altman with the care of my skin! He has always taken excellent care of me.

I've seen 2 other dermatologists and by far prefer Dr. Altman. He doesn't try to sell you on anything, just does the body exam and gives it to you straight. Great bedside manner, distracts you while he's working on what needs to be taken care of.

I have consulted with Dr. Altman for many years to control my condition. He is most excellent, but changes in the front office have made it difficult to get an appointment.

The staff at this facility is unpleasant, condescending and rude. Good luck trying to speak with, or even leave a message for your Dr as the receptionist, and office manager must have been trained at the Gulag. You can be treated better, don't settle.

He cares more about his personal life than caring for his patients outside the office hours!!!!
