Dr. Jeffrey Martin Baerman, MD

I went to Dr Baerman to be checked if I was ok for spinal surgery that was to take place shortly. This delayed my spine surgery for months. I was in constant severe pain. At the office, Dr Baerman wanted me to sit for the initial interview, I explained the changing my standing position to sitting would be painful. He did not seem to care and wanted me to sit. He stated that by standing I was intimidating to him. I sat and completed the visit. I had a nuclear stress test which is horrible and I was very ill after the test. I was never visited by Dr Baerman at this time, before or after the test. I had to get up and leave the hospital on my own and drive home alone. I would advise anyone who needed this type of stress test to have a friend or relative with you to help. Three weeks later, Dr Baerman office finally contacted me with the results, his office insisted that I drive in for an office visit and would not just let my surgeon nor myself know the results thereby making… it very hard on me due to the pain I was in. I went in as a good little do bee. My appt. was at 2:30 but I waited in his office until nearly 5:00 in dire pain, hardly able to walk. I was finally called back to see the DR and he had his whole staff waiting for me. I guess he was afraid of this 75 year old woman who by standing had intimidated him prior. He told me I was fine for the spinal surgery. He could have told me that over the phone 3 weeks prior and saved me all the addition pain I endured just waiting to be ok'd for surgery. Dr Bearman was uncaring, arrogant and a waste of my time. I would have gone to any other cardio if I had known what he was like. He obviously likes to play games with patients. This happened several years ago but the horrid experience is still fresh in my mind

Dr. Baerman is a wonderful doctor.

Dr Baerman was attentive, thorough, and compassionate in his examination. He also was concerned with my other described symptoms. With my permission, he directed his staff to set up an appt with a specialist for testing and evaluation that ultimately resulted in a diagnosis of Stage IV cancer. I'm now in treatment, and could easily have died if it weren't for him

I have a very rare heart condition that does not respond well to medication. Dr. Baerman was the first doctor to accurately diagnose me. He always takes time to explain things to me and makes sure I understand my care. He is hands down the best doctor I have ever met....(except my other heart doctor who is also great!!)
