Dr. Jeffrey Bernard Becker, MD

Amazing and compassionate..thinks out of the box and cares. He actually thinks about the whole person. Can't recommend him enough. I love him and he knows what he is doing. With regards to the previous review saying he is 'personal' I found him to be utterly professional. Plus I like a personal connection with my doctor I don't want them to be a robot with no feelings...

Dr. Becker is a brilliant Psychiatrist. He has helped me through: -Panic Disorder -Social Anxiety Disorder / GAD -Major Depression -Opiate Addiction / Withdrawal -SSRI Withdrawl -Countless heavy 'life situations' He is one of the very, very few doctors who can interpret the mind, body & soul as one, interdependent entity, I have been seeing him for about 5 years & before that I'd seen countless others and for the most part all the others did was ask what your symptoms are & prescribe accordingly. And this is not only useless but likely very dangerous to your health. It is my experience that Dr. Becker sincerely cares for his patients - and does so in the most professional manner one can expect. (the review at the bottom talking about him being too personal is utter nonsense). Additionally, Dr. Becker is a pioneer in specialized vitamin supplement plans. I honestly can't think of anything that isn't above par with Dr. B. He just about always calls back the day of -… occasionally the following day but he's definitely someone I trust with my life. I am grateful to have found a Psychiatrist of such high caliber. He's really one in a million.

I have been seeing Dr. Becker for over 3 years, and don't let that fool you, I struggle with opiod addiction, which is a life long problem, not something that can just be cured. Thanks to him, I have been drug free since I began seeing him. He has saved my life. He is not greedy, he has done nothing but help, care, and work with my financial situation. He does get personal, but in my opinion, a good Dr should. He definitly knows the line between doctor and patient. And the review that says, "he flirted with me", it's definitly you, not him. He is the best doctor I've ever seen, and I credit him with saving my life. Thanks Dr. B!

I've been in the care of Dr Becker for the past 7 mos. I am very grateful for his expertise and believe that he saved my life !Last Winter,(2011), I was suffering from a medical mistake, another doctor had lowered my thyroid dosage drastically and I went into a fierce downward spiral. I was barely able to eat or sleep for 3 mos. I suffered extreme anxiety. I first went to another psychiatrist who seemed capable and put me on meds. The drugs were not at all effective and I did not think I would survive.I was referred to Dr Becker by 2 other physicians that I spoke to.He looked at all my labs and made quick sense of my condition. He changed my meds and taught me a breathing exercise also to help with the anxiety. Within 3 days, I couldn't believe it, but I was beginning to feel like myself again ! It felt like an absolute miracle.Complete recovery has taken time. Dr Becker has been there for me each step of the way... and for the ups and downs. He is insightful, articulate, caring,… compassionate and supportive. He's a sensitive therapist as well as an exceptional doctor.

The best psychiatrist ever. Takes in to consideration the whole body (physical and mental)

In couples counseling a Doctor should never take sides, triangulate or talk to one of the partners without confiding in the other. Jeffrey Bernard Becker is a horrible couples counselor. We wasted $3000.00 out of pocket. We did find another counselor and she saved our marriage.

I find Dr. Becker to be an extremely insightful and compassionate physician. In addition to prescribing appropriate medications, he encourages his patients to think outside the conventional medicine box, and look to a wholistic approach to healing as well.

DR. Becker totally disappointed us. He has scheduling problems and we don't have time to waste. We found a wonderful Dr. through UCLA referral.

Dr. Becker is the best doctor I have seen to date. He suspected and endocrine problem (that was confirmed by and endocrinologist a week later) - that at least 5 others doctors failed to notice or even test for during a 10 year period. I highly recommend him over all of the other doctors out there!
