Dr Berg and his staff are amazing, they take there time to listen and talk about any and all concerns. He even told me about some of his trips with his wife. I have been going there along time, been on same meds. Just wish he would up the mg on my meds so I could work more and get better sleep. He truly is great

Dr. Berg is far and away the best pain management doctor you could ask for. I have been a patient since the late 90s. He took me on as a pediatric case at age 11 after I complication with my first spine surgery. I am 33 now and 6 operations deep on my lumbar spine. Dr. Berg has stuck with me through it all. When I lived in Virginia Beach and after my 5th back surgery went sideways and I could not get out of pain with the several pain doctors I saw there, I would fly back to Louisville every other month just to see him. He is incredibly knowledgeable, kind and he talks straight. He will do anything he can to keep you off more meds than you need and will go above and beyond to keep you out from under the knife. Even the times he thought the surgery was a big chance for me, he stuck with me. I only function daily because of him. And his staff is a collection of the most wonderful nurses/admin/people you could ask for.

Dr. Jeffery Berg is a horrible person. He thinks he is GOD and gets angry if you question him. He rarely, if ever, runs on time; so, patients, who are in pain, are stuck in the waiting room for 1-3 hours suffering before they get to see him. During one visit, I mentioned I had a migraine for 2 weeks and Dr. Berg said that was impossible. However, when qualifying me for Botox, he said the opposite. He gave me a different injection than we had agreed upon. When I confronted him, he got angry; said he never made mistakes and dismissed me as a patient.

I've been using Dr. Berg from mid 2000 from injuries received in Iraq and again since 2015 from injuries sustain in Afghanistan. Him and his staff are very polite, sincere, and cares for the patients. I would recommend him to anyone who has injuries like I do. Top notch Medical Team.

Rude

Berg is not only unpleasant, he is also rude and even verbally abusive toward his patients. I took his abuse as long as I could and then found a very pleasant and empathetic PM doctor in Louisville. Even some of my family and several friends have complained about him and either have left his office for another PM doctor, or are heavily considering it. I have even seen elderly patients leave his office in tears because of his attitude. Nobody deserves treatment such as this. Stay away from his practice.

Dr. Berg and his staff have proven to be a very caring and calming staff. Dr. Berg has even personally called me the day after both of my injections just to check on me.
