Dr. Jeffrey Todd Berger, MD

Dr. Berger provides an abundance of pain medication to cancer patients without fully assessing the need for such medication. He does not monitor the patient after giving medication. He provides an 20mg or Oxydone, plus Gabapenten , plus morphine to a 100 pound woman. She was never the same after that This statement is entirely true - It was my sister in law and I was her health care proxy. She went into Winthrop University Hospital taking half the medication for her cancer. After many conversations and outright arguments he insisted that she said she needed it. She could barely speak much less agree to the pain medication. Winthrop University Hospital did not offer pain management, but instead went directly to palliative care because she had cancer. I caution you to first. Do not go to that hospital and most of all do conduct business with Dr. Jeffrey Berger or Dr. Jeffrey Schneider.
