Dr. Jeffrey Cantor, MD

This was our 4th Neuro Surgeon consultation. We just did not feel the other before us had the wholistic view of pre surgery, surgery and post surgery recovery. Dr Cantor is the whole package. We both (husband and wife) are highly knowledgeable about nutrition being key in a healthy life and in recovery. His plan for recovery nutrition is Tops.

He spent considerable time reviewing and explaining everything.

Dr cantor spent a very long time with me on a zoom, call since I am in Arizona, to go over everything to make sure we are choosing the right option for me. I am ever so impressed with Dr Cantor and his team. I have been in chronic pain since I was about 9 years old and am now 51. I have every confidence that Dr. Cantor is going to help me tremendously.

I searched from end to end of the United States and selected Dr. Jeffrey Cantor based on his exceptional reviews and his educational YouTube videos. We had two zoom consultations as I live in New Mexico. After those consultations, I knew he was the surgeon for me. I flew from New Mexico to Florida to see him and I was not disappointed. He was wonderful, his staff is wonderful, and the hospital provided exceptional care. After excruciating pain for months and months; after my surgery with Dr. Cantor I am 100% pain-free! I will forever be grateful and so glad I made the decision to go to the Cantor Spine Center! I feel like I got my life back!

I met Dr. Cantor after an old friend who is an Orthopedic Surgeon outside of Florida told me that I MUST go see him; "he's the best there is". Words well spoken, because after meeting with numerous Orthopedic and Neurological surgeons, Dr. Cantor was the first to take the time to fully explain the architecture of my spine, and why I had been in so much pain. I'm VERY HAPPY to say that last week, Dr. Cantor performed TLIF surgery at my L5/S1 level, which is spinal fusion that ultimately removed all the pressure from a trapped sciatic nerve. While I was anxious to have the surgery, I had total trust in Dr. Cantor as well as his entire team of professionals. The day after the surgery, I was walking without the sciatic pain! I have to say that Dr. Cantor's passion for helping people with spine problems shines through when you meet him. My diagnosis (Spondylolthesis) was fully explained in ways I could understand; it was very important to him that I did understand. Not every… one will need surgery; his office is well equipped to address ortho issues in other ways too. In my case, the only fix was to repair the architecture of my spine. I was very impressed. It's clear he cares about what he does, and his love of technology helps him perfect what he does with the most minimal procedure to address the problem. He was also the only surgeon who recommended an anti-inflammatory diet which also promotes healing and it really works! I can't praise Dr. Cantor enough, and his PA Hayley, who was right there with me through the pre-surgery, surgery and post-surgery. In fact his entire office is filled with happy, friendly, upbeat pros in what they all do. Everyone--front office, XRAY techs, Medical Assistants made my experience so calm and smooth. There is no doubt that Dr. Cantor is the best of the best! And you'll love everyone in his center. Lisa, Diedre, Courtney, Sho, Haley and all the other smiling faces that helped me, but I don't know their names. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Cantor. I feel the best I've felt in years!

I'm a 65 year old male with cervical & foraminal stenosis at C4-7 and post-rupture disc fragments pressing on a nerve off my right side. It has progressed with slight numbness and pain under my right trap and down the right arm. I was seeing a neuro surgeon from my home town in Virginia since 2013. We discussed me having an ACDF this past fall. As I was researching the procedure on you tube, I came across Dr. Cantor's minimally invasive technique videos using ultra sonic tools and became convinced this is what I wanted if Dr. Cantor recommended surgery. I'm familiar with researching journals and other sources of knowledge and techniques before making decisions. I liked that Dr. Cantor wasn't interested in what my Virginia doctor's recommendation was. He wanted to make his own assessment and determined I didn't need surgery at this time based on not having loss of function on my right side . We've mapped out a plan for managing the pain until the symptoms progress further to… impact life style. I appreciated his conservative approach; but at the point surgery is recommended, I'd have either Dr. Cantor or another colleague whose properly trained do the procedure. Dr. Cantor has invested hundreds of hours learning and training in the use of these ultra sonic tools through cadaveric dissection labs in perfecting these techniques. He is recognized among top ortho and neuro teaching intuitions in the country for developing the "IP". I suspect he will eventually be training future ortho and neuro residents and fellows how to use these techniques and tools. Watching his you tube videos, you can see why this is a game changer in the future of neurosurgery. His office was very helpful, accommodating and professional as well.
