Dr. Jeffrey Peter Carley, DO

I was a patient of Dr. Carley from the beginning of his practice in Kings Mountain. Excellent, patient, knowledgeable, outgoing and caring. Gave one hundred percent of his time and training. Unfortunately I moved to Arkansas and my biggest regret is still leaving his care. After four years of searching for a primary care physician, I finally found one that from our first visit reminded me of Dr. Carley. Caring, friendly, personal and supportive. If you are a patient of Carley Family Care, you are lucky.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Carley since he opened his office in Kings Mountain. He is an amazing Dr. Great personality, professional, and caring.

Not responsive to patients needs. We called with a question for my mother who is a longtime patient and they never called us back. Always have to leave a message with the likely hood that you'll never get a return call. Cannot not speak to a nurse or MA! Unprofessional to say the least. Hoping to convince mom to get a new doctor.

Excellent care. Have been a patient since Dr. Carley open his office in Kings Mountain. He. Is very concerned about my care and take time to listen and explain my question so I understand my treatment. Very professional.

Dr Carley may not be known for his bedside manner, but he has stood by me, fighting the insurance companies that wanted to force me to go to work when I was unable to walk due to my knees being bone on bone, and allergic to all pain meds, my hands were wrapped due to the pain I was having in them, and some pretty tough emotions in play due to all that pain. He has researched to try to find a med I can take, he has done more than most Dr.'s would have taken the time to do, just because he really wanted to help a 60 year old woman who needed help. So I don't care if he comes in once in awhile not all smiles, and I may have to wait an extra 15 or 20 minutes, I know it's because he is taking time with others who need his help just like I do.

Dr. Carley is the best Dr. I have ever went to , He has been my Dr. for 8 Years Now , One of the BEST AROUND !

Carley's patients are older adults. I went to him for over 10 years and thought he was pretty thorough. I saw him twice a year which included a blood test each visit. On my last visit my PSA was 39. I found that Carley had not requested a PSA test for the last 5 years. I now take radiation treatments and hormone therapy for high risk prostate cancer which could have been found years earlier at low risk with more frequent PSA tests like other doctors. When asked why he tested at 5 year intervals his reply was "The doctors just starting practice will not be checking PSA at all and you will see many more men dying of prostate cancer in the future". Like he did me a favor. Carley is on longer my doctor.

This doctor will not see you if you take any pain meds or nerve meds So if you really need a doctor this one really is not one

I was a patient of dr carley when he was in Dr Blackburns office in Fl. He was the most caring and kindest doctor I've ever known! It's so shocking to hear the reviews in North Carolina. He was my doctor when I had cancer, he called me I wasn't home he left his home # for me to call him back, he referred me to Dr Palmer who is the very best Surgeon, then he referred me to the New Hope Cancer Center Dr Li and Dr Sokol the absolute best doctors ever. He spent at least an hour with me and would not let me leave until he was satisfied I told him everything I wanted to, I can't say enough how caring he was. When he was my doctor I had the absolute best care. Thank you Dr Carley!
