Dr. Jeffrey Wade Cline, MD

I have been taking my children to him for years. Even though I wouldn’t recommend him to any of my friends because of his poor bedside manner, I still continued to use his services because he seemed knowledgeable enough. Well today he crossed a line that has made me switch healthcare providers. He was 45 minutes late to my baby’s well child check. When I asked why he made homophobic comments about how a patient with “too many pronouns” slowed him down. I was honestly so shocked by this I couldn’t believe it. Then he was dismissive about my daughters on going digestive issues and showed no concern that she might be lactose intolerant. When I asked him more questions he was short with me and rude/belittling. Called me lazy because I hadn’t weaned her from a bottle yet! I left in tears and no where closer to resolving my babies health concerns.

He seems really sexist and condescending like the last thing he wants to do is talk to parents when their child is was recurrently recently diagnosed with ADHD and they're trying to figure out how to manage medication and school. He told me, a single working mother, a bad parent because I asked what I needed to do to have the school give my son his medication since he needs to take it twice a day and told me "a real parent would do what it takes to take care of their cups child." Yes, jerk. I'm working full time as a single mom to take care of my kids and I can't leave work in the middle of the day and I've never had a kid with medical needs before. My child has had a few other pediatricians (retired/switched insurances) who have been INCREDIBLY compassionate and communicative and have not given me sexist crap about my duties as a mom.

Sad I have been bringing my kids to dr . Cline for 8 years but my last visit after me and my one year old daughter was in a car accident I will never return he acted like I was the worst mom for bringing my kid in to get checked after being in a accident which she has been checked twice before but I brought her in cauSe she was crying non stop for no reason , pretty much told me I was lying that she was crying all the time . Sat In the room staring at us without saying a word for literally five minutes. Walked out without saying any ideas how to help or what could be happening . Horrible attitude and good luck treating your patients like that cause I will tell everyone how you treated us
