Dr. Jeffrey Alan Cohn, MD

Thank you to all those who posted reviews of Dr. Cohn in the past. You helped me find a truly wonderful doctor which is why I'm wrting my review. If you are looking for a GP that you can have an honest, comfortable conversation with look no further. Dr. Cohn really knows his stuff but shares hisknowledge and expereince with you in such a way that you don't feel like a dictionary is talking. I really appreciated his approach and interaction with me and feel like I have found a GP that I can build a long and trusted relationship with.

Dr. Cohn has taken/takes care of my entire family. He has always made us feel comfortable when discussing our problems, both big and small. His explanation of the issue and the planned course of treatment is clear and concise. He took care of my Mom during her final years and not only keep her as strong and comfortable as possible, but made her feel loved and understood. Not many doctors will take the time for seniors and make them feel like they matter. I would/do recommend Dr. Cohn for your family physician if you are looking for someone who makes you feel like you matter, your health concerns are real, and that you/he are a team in bringing the issues to resolve.His staff is also courteous, helpful, and make you feel comfortable while handling your appointment needs or medical concerns.

I hate to make his office busier, but he's just too good a Doctor to keep to myself. Dr. Cohn is the most pleasant, knowledgeable, thorough doctor I have every used. He was recommended by a friend, and we would drive from out of our way to his Ashburn office. Knows your meds, cares about your health (physical/mental), takes meticulous notes, and has everything hooked up through an electronic network for real-time updates. Uses his laptop during your exam, and has all information at hand. Updates it, and sends your prescription electronically to your favorite pharmacy. It is usually ready before I have gotten to Wegmans! His nurse, the staff, etc, are wonderful. He will even let you try a new medication (sample) when you are going on a new medication if he has it on hand. When we were going through financial difficulties, this small kindness saved us money and aggravation until we got paid and could afford the medication. He's also an OBGYN, so all my visits are wrapped up into… one. BXBS and CIGNA are both accepted here as of this review.

Dr. Cohn was affable easy to talk to, he made me feel comfortable on my first visit. I liked the fact he filled out a medical checkup form needed by one of the life insurance firms free of cost, all I had to do was ask. I would easily recommend him to my friends and family.
