Copeland received his Bachelor of Science degrees, with honors, in Biology and Dentistry from the University of Illinois-Chicago. He then attended the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. While at the College of Dentistry, he was awarded the Samuel Cascio and Ted Rosen awards for the excellence in dental academia and problem solving in restorative dentistry. Â
Dr. Copeland is a member of the American Dental Association,  the Chicago Dental Society , the Illinois State Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2008, he was selected as the Matula Scholar which allowed him to attend the Annual Midwest Seminar for Dental Medicine.
Dr. Copeland enjoys providing care in all areas of general dentistry with enhanced interest in emerging technologies and minimally invasive dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Copeland …enjoys golfing, snowmobiling and power boating.
