I saw Dr. DeClaire several years ago and was first mentioned to try the shots. I did and they worked wonders even at only once a year. However, now my knee is starting to give me some pain. I visited him earlier in the week and am contemplating having my knee replaced. He was very good at explaining the problem I have and took his time during my visit. I am considering it and will let his Executive Secretary in the near future. He is very well praised by some of the people that I know who have done knee replacement with great success.

2005 knee replacement done by doctor Jeffrey Declaire and it was perfect. Fast forward 2018.. total knee replacement on the left side., 4 hours late doing my surgery, he changed the type of prosthetic on the last minute, I don't know if he sewed me up or his associate because he was running so late.. now in 2019 the kneecap shifted over to the left causing terrible neuropathy and chronic pain .. Dr Declaire said most likely he could not repair it because of the lymphedema behind the knee from a previous hip replacement and it would push the knee cap over again ?? now in 2020 the total e replacement came loose and in 2021 , I am completely homebound now live in chronic pain and neuropathy ?? I have no quality of life.

This isn't about my treatment but about the practice having the nerve to charge patients $25 to fill out required forms. I have never heard of such a thing! It's part of the job of patient care taking! It's just a money grab!

Dr Declaire may be a wonderful surgeon, but his wait times are horribly long. We waited over 3 hours for my mother’s first knee surgery and over 1.5 hours for the 2nd surgery. We heard, over the hospital loud speaker, when they announced his arrival which was a half an hour after her scheduled surgery time. If a Dr is going to schedule a surgery, he should at least be at the hospital at that time! I’m certainly glad my mother only has two knees!!

I would like you to know that Myself and my spouse are extremely upset in the way Crittenton and your Crittenton Doctors' operate in this arena called; helping patients in their medical needs - be either surgery, or patients medical assistance in any means required. This doctor informed me to send my spouse home and this doctor would do my elective surgery and stay over night is against any Hospitals policy

came to Dr. DeClaire after having a Doctor that was trying to preform medicine but only knew how to practice and not to good at that.....Dr. DeClaire now was me walking with little fear of falling.....and my good knee is next in line this spring...and I know Dr. DeClaire will be doing it......

Dr. Declaire did a knee replacement and left me with an incurable blood infection. I will be on antibiotics for the rest of my life. Another surgery is not an option due to my age. The surgery caused me constant pain and limited use of my leg. Choose another doctor.

I love Dr. DeClaire. Best Knee Surgeon in the world. He truly cares about his patients. Dr. DeClair's staff is just as caring as he is.

Well worth the wait, waiting room spacious, thermal carafes always refilled with coffee even de-caf. Three large screen tv,s. The protocols are unique and excellent, x-rays and all sorts of testnother doctors do not understand. Exam room nice leather chairs. Awesome man and wonderful doctor today I have hope for my future of the knees, thought it could go to an above the knee amputation. No way he told me. Was having probs. with Norco hydrocodone and addicting he renewed script and gave me tramadol , also controlled substance but not very addicting. The superb Dr. works out of crit. hosp, in Rochester, Mi. Beautiful rooms,large screen tv for a hospital think 27 in., 80 ch cable superb food, coffee excellent, not so at nurses area. The Rochester newspaper is brought up daily, not published Sat. rooms are always clean, at night it is a quiet hospital. T
