Dr. Jeffrey Gerard Deppen, DO

Dr Deppen is a awesome surgeon .He had a awesome bed side manner and he cares . I could never Thank him enough for all he's done for me .He's a 100 out of 100 on my book .

I went in for a hernia repair surgery in 2018 and my life has been nothing but pain every since l went to see him a few times after the surgery and he brushed it off like I was lying to him and he said the pain was all in my head and I assumed he thought I was trying to get pain medicine. The pain is debilitating and very disrupting in my life and I hope by posting this review that it will save somebody else from having to go through what I have gone through and continue to go through today. Stay away from this guy. I wouldn't let him touch my dog if my dog was dying I know two other people that have had horrific experiences with Dr Deppin go ahead and try to find some reviews on him that are bad I found two and the rest were blocked so they couldn't be read. They only show four or five star reviews so this probably won't make the cut. Hopefully somehow this will help expose him for what he is.a hack. my husband had hernia surgery and dr deppen was great he explained everything to us hes cares about his patients very good surgeon no problems

He was clear, efficient, good-humored, personable, reassuring--and early! You can't ask for more than that.

The first surgery he performed on my mother was gall bladder which got infected and he knew but didn't recommend her coming to look at it he prescribed an antibiotic then three days later she was at office with severe infection that burst. Second surgery was hernia he performed and added mesh. This surgery also did not work and his mesh was just floating around in her stomach. when she went back they said they would just have to do it again. Ummm NO would never recommend him and was leery having her go to him a second time.

Dr. Deppen has performed several surgeries on me. Excellent surgeon!

He did a surgery, inguinal hernia and installed a mesh implant. Almost 3 years later i have not recovered and require mesh removal. Maybe he did good at installing it, i dont know. But i had 3 follow up visits because it hurt so bad and the third time he told me its all in my head, i just want pain pills, dont come back!!! Now i am a total mess and on nerve blockers ruining my life when he had 3 chances to save me.

Dr. Deppen is extremely professional and has great bed side manner. He did the single site removal and I barely had a scar. Would highly recommend him.
