Dr. Thomas K Jamieson, DO

Dr Jamieson is a very caring person. He looks at the whole situation and does not just treat symptoms. If your back hurts, he may subscribe you a book (Pain Free) and exercises / stretches rather than muscle relaxers and pain pills.

I was fat-shamed by Dr. Jamieson within the first 10 minutes of meeting him for the first time. I came to talk about pains in my shoulders. He treated me like I was born yesterday and made assumptions that indicated he didn't assume me to be very educated. He rushed me through every question he asked me. He told me not to waste my time on Chiropractic care, even at one point saying "they" make things up. Every person has the right to their opinion, but to talk to me so boldly implies you don't respect my right to self determination and therefore, my humanity. To speak to me this way after knowing me all of 10 minutes implies you aren't seeing me as an equal or deserving of dignity. You aren't seeing my care as something we collaborate on. How do you expect clients to feel empowered to take charge of their care when you treat them in such disempowering ways. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
