Dr. Jeffrey Walter Devitt, MD

It was a pleasure to meet with Dr. Devitt. He was very thorough, explained everything to my satisfaction and his bedside manner is wonderful. Very pleasant visit.

Upon doing research on anterior hip replacements, I came across Dr. Devitt. After a consultation and telling him the horrors that I went through from previous doctors, he said I was a great candidate and replaced my left hip February 2024. Told me at that time that I will need to have my right hip replaced also and as soon as it starts giving me trouble to let him know April 2025 I trusted him enough to replace my right hip. Dr. Devitt is a gifted surgeon who listens to his patient’s concerns, patiently goes over the steps what recovery is going to look like. The the left hip took a little longer for recovery. I was off work for about six months, but there was a lot of damage, the right hip on the other hand I will be going back to work after four months the anterior procedure isn’t for everybody, but I strongly recommend speaking with Dr. Devitt about your options.

Dr Dewitt is a fantastic doctor. I just found out I have to have hip replacement surgery and he was very compassionate when explaining the details to me. He recently performed the same surgery on my best friend and she was singing his praises when she told me to see him for mine. Excellent physician that I’d highly recommend to anyone in need.

Dr Devitt is fantastic. His whole team is knowledgeable, experienced and totally easy to work with.

Dr. Devitt, Alexis and their entire team are caring, knowledgeable, thorough and so pleasant to be around. I have not yet needed surgery but know it's on the horizon. I will go nowhere else when the time comes.

I recently had a hip replacement done by Dr. Devitt and his team. 7 weeks after surgery I am virtually feeling no pain at this point and am getting back to doing exercises and the hiking that I’ve missed. I would sincerely like to thank Dr. Devitt and the whole team over at Michigan Orthopedics for getting me back on the road with no pain.

Dr Devitt answered all of my questions and did not push me into making an immediate decision on surgery. I felt comfortable with Dr Devitt and his PA, Alexis. I felt relieved after my appointment. His entire staff was courteous and professional.

Seeing Dr Devitt and his nurse Alexis for knee injections in my non surgical knee. Everyone in the office are wonderful and put you at ease. Dr Devitt takes his time and goes over X-rays and answers all questions.

Love Dr Devitt. He was recommended via friends. I will not forget my day of surgery, Dr Devitt comes in to see you along with meeting his surgery team and they walk with you into surgery. That was SOOO comforting meeting my team & them walking me into surgery. Surgery & aftercare went extremely smooth. His reputation for being an excellent surgeon is 100% accurate. I had No problems of any kind afterwards during recovery. You can call anytime afterwards with concerns & always get a quick response that puts you at ease. Dr Devitt is awesome when you meet him & he explains everything very thoroughly. He has a delightful bed side manner & makes you feel relaxed even though you're going through a major surgery. He also has the BEST PA's. They are extremely thorough & also explain everything. Very compassionate & caring with you concerns. Put you at ease. 10 stars for the whole experience.!
