Dr. Jeffrey Eakin is personable and extremely knowledgable, I love working with him!

I was 380 pounds and now I have lost over 200 lbs. I went through Dr. Eakin's bariatric surgery program and it was the best thing I have ever done. I wish I would have done it ten years ago. His staff is amazing and thankfully they all speak Spanish. You will not be dissapointed.

All I can say is I had colon cancer and now I am cured!

Dr. Eakin is incredibly competent and efficient. He is in it for the best interest of his patients.

I had a left inguinal hernia repair with Dr Eakin. After the surgery for about two weeks i kept calling Dr Eakin and telling him something was wrong and he kept putting me off telling me i was a smoker and would take me a year to heal. Well after a month of this going in circles with him i started to look for another surgeon that was willing to check me out. Eleven months after the surgery with Dr Eakin i found another surgeon that went in to check on the repair that Dr Eakin done and he had found that the mesh used by Dr Eakin was all balled up and rock hard and was causing me mass pain and nausea. I tried over and over to tell Dr Eakin that something was wrong and kept getting the same answer that i was a smoker and would take a year to heal. It was only eleven months later when i had the mesh removed by a different surgeon because Dr Eakin just would not listen to me and just kept putting me off. I feel that if you are a surgeon and your patient keeps telling you that something is… wrong and you just keep putting them off and show no concern you should not be in the medical field. Since this was a botched hernia surgery from the gate that was not addressed from the beginning because he showed no concern i am still loosing internal parts over this surgery. I would not refer Dr Eakin to a worst enemy as he shows no concern for his patient and does not listen to them when they tell him something is wrong. Two thumbs down Dr Eakin.
